Masks will be part of the wedding favors during the reception. I think if we do the easy thing and just add simple decorations to the large quantity masks then we could divide them by status of the individuals, only we wouldn't tell anyone what the colors represented... hehe

Of course DH and I would have matching/coordinating masks, and we might do specialty ones for family and bridal party members. What a fun pre-bridal party - mask decorating!

I'll need hot glue, ribbons, paints, glitter, feathers, etc....

I love the idea of a birdcage veil.... i might even have my bridesmaids wear these.... i really want a mantilla.... something long and flowing and gorgeous... but i don't know how i would then have a blusher.....

We bought my ring last weekend when I was visiting him. It's beautiful... and I can't have it until the 30th when the store is done sizing it.... long waiting time has me annoyed... why can't I just make an appointment to take it in and get it done right away???

The downside (perhaps up-side) to the cake decision, is that it cannot be chocolate. In fact... nothing that the groom will eat can be chocolate. And while chocolate is my second favorite thing in this world (following my dear fiance of course) I don't want to add anything to the day that will knowingly make him sick. Of course too much chocolate cake and I'm not feeling so good either. So on to the frosting!!

I really like the first two, they go with my colors (other than the blue and orange) and my masquerade theme... the other ones are fun for ideas and inspirations.

I would love for the invites to reflect the color and theme of the weekend festivities. The colors are black and hot pink. The day is Halloween. The season is Autumn. The theme is Masquerade. I would love for fleur de lis, stripes, and diamond patterns. I may accent with golds and greens.

I really like this invitation kits that open and have several pockets and cards. I may make the reception "by invitation only" and have "tickets" included in the invitation set. It would be a lot of fun to decorate and set these up at home. But if we're having over 200 people it's going to be time consuming....

I'm not sure how we want to word anything yet... I'll leave that for another time.

It's just hours away, yet it feels like an eternity before we go shopping for our wedding rings (and my engagement ring). He's found the ring that he wants and I have a good idea of what I want. But I won't share the details of those pretty little items just yet....

The Twist Diamond looks just like my mother's solitaire, it's gorgeous!

After we find out when we can have our rings, then we'll sit down and finalize when and where we want to elope.

He's also decided that he's going to tell his parents now instead of waiting until later. I like that idea. It's easier to wear our rings and be married when everyone knows that we are and we're not trying to hide it.
