The Proposal

Brad & I had talked about marriage for a while before he proposed to me. I had already been married before I have two kids with my ex husband and I was not wanting to wait forever. I told him this and he promised by the end of 2011 we would be engaged but didn't tell me when. By the last week of December I was freaking out trying to figure out how life was going to be by myself again. New Years Eve came and we had all of our friends over for a fire & to count down to the new year. Right before the count down started Brad said he'd be right back. He comes back put his arm around me & we count down to three & he got out the ring & got down on one knee & asked me to marry him! It was so sweet! I said yes right as it went to one!
In the move from Colorado when I split from my ex I had lost a stuffed animal that I really loved as a baby - adult life. So brad went online & found someone who had one b/c they only made them in 85-86 so he had to search & pay loads of money but.... he found one & gave that to me as well. He told me that no matter what was lost from the past we could always replace together! It was so cute! I love him & I can not wait to become his wife!
