Colors
I went to the paint store today and picked out some color samples/previews. Now I am wondering once I pick the two colors that I like together what do I do from there? For instance, I want blue and green together as my wedding colors. However - I know that it's highly unlikely that I'm going to find anything in dragon blue. So what do I do when I pick the two that I like the most together?

The Proposal
Sunday April 4th, 2010 started out like any ordinary Easter day. However that all changed at about 4:00 PM Eastern Time. As Sarah was sitting down at the family table to say prayer Matthew stopped her and begged her to open an Easter present that he had got for her. Confused but pushed by her mother to open it Sarah did as she was told. The plastic egg that she opened was tied with a silver ribbon and there was a piece of candy on the middle of the ribbon. After she opened the egg another decorative blue egg caught her attention. Inside the egg was the message will you marry me? Which his mother embroidered on the top of it and the engagement ring was placed at the bottom. Sarah began to shake with glee and Matthew asked her if she would marry him, not saying anything at first because she was so shaken up he looked at her and stated “Well?” Sarah grabbed him in a huge hug and said “Yes! 100 times yes!” As she started crying and then informed the rest of the family what had happened. Everyone was happy for her and him then Sarah's grandma began to cry with happiness.

Wedding Date
So currently we are trying to pick out a wedding date... I know that I put September the 3rd of next year down on my profile. However we were not really sure when we wanted it and I figured I had to choose something.

Having said that, last night we narrowed it down to two dates so we are either going to get married on August 13th or September 24th of next year. August is better because of out of town guests with their children and September seems better because it won't be too hot or too cold for an outdoor wedding! So that is what we are thinking about currently. More posts to come later I am sure :).

Ask a Question
Now that I've found the two colors I want to go together - it's all about finding the right hues. The two colors I would like to go together are blue and green. I want the main color to be some form of blue. Any ideas?

Hello everyone! I notice that this is my first entry on a blog and on this site. So I apologize if my writing is a little tough. So here is my first thought.

I want to go with a shade of blue as our main wedding color however I'm not sure which color(s) I should pick to help accent the blue. I was hoping that you gals could weigh in with your opinions. That would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from all of you :).

Currently I am thinking about using Aqua Blue and Apple Green. Let me know how you feel about these colors... it was just the first set of colors I saw together that just really grabbed my eye.

I'm just wondering do you think I could get away with an aqua blue even though it's not going to be a beach wedding?
