Centerpieces!

Thought long and hard about this one. The girls at my work laughed when I said I "finally" had my centerpiece idea, and that this was the one! I think I maybe can up with five previous plans to this one.

But with that, said, this really is the one. I found the idea on Ruffled blog, but I am going to change it to fit my taste. Luckily, since it involves, wood, saws, and drilling, I can ask my fiance to help without feeling bad. No tissue, glue guns or thread and needles here!

I am going to get some small simple frosted votives (if I can't find the right ones, I will add the effect to clear glass ones with a spray effect.) I think the most important element of this whole design is LED tealights instead of real ones, since my wedding is outside, from being a bridesmaid in other weddings I know that you can spend 20 minutes running around re-lighting tealights, and then finally succumbing to the fact that the wind IS going to blow them out. Plus Hobby Lobby has LED's 50% off ever other week. Can't beat that. I tried a pack of the votive styled ones, and they ran for four days straight before I gave up and assumed they were good enough to last the one night. They still work! (The package says will work for 72 hours)

Thanks for the heads up on the LED lights from Hobby Lobby. Our nearest one is in OH but we'll be making a monthly trip over there once we're officially planning.
