oh honey, i am in shook. i only pray that God gives you all the strength and energy to make it through. i am so sorry! sometimes God takes the best because He needed an angel. may he r.i.p. i will keep you and your family in my prayers tonight.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I cannot imagine losing my son, I don't even know what to say in situations like this, last year our best friend was murdered, some guy stabbed him because his girlfriend claimed she cheated on him with our friend. Even though it never happened, sadly, this girl walked free and the guy is only facing 15 years. Even though he stabbed him brutally and doesn't feel any guilt whatsoever. This is nowhere like losing a child I'm sure but find comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. I am praying for you as I type this and I'm sure god will give you strength to get through this. It never gets easier so I hear, but you just learn to cope with the pain.

I am so sorry, I know right now there are not any words that will comfort you & I can not begin to understand or imagine how you feel I will  pray that God gives you the strength and peace in your heart believe me when i say they will pay, God sees all and there's will soon come in the worse way it always does try to fill that emptyness with all his great memories hes no longer here but he is with our heavenly father best place he could ever be I know you want him & need him here but take comfort in knowing that hes watching over you & in a better place one which you will one day see him again.He will always be in your heart cant noone take him away from your heart You & your family are in my prayers & thoughts  ((hugs)) God bless

oh my! Soooooo sorry for the loss of your son. I am speechless! Don't know what to say. I pray the good Lord to grant you peace and comfort your heart and mind as you grasp the reality of what has happened. May mourning be replaced with laughter, and your weakness be replaed with strength. Be encouraged.

Hello Barbara.  I'm just speechless.  I'm sooooooo sorry to here such bad news, especially with our men, young men, babies.  I have a sixteen year old son myself and I talk to him weekly about, how crazy it is out there. He's now branching off and doing more things, but I have a grip on him.  He wants to do a lot more things and will be 17 next month. I have to let him do more things, but it's so hard to see this, especially so close to our WBC family.  What do we do? Pray, make sure that we have raised a good man...I'm so sorry to hear this.  I want to say....take one day at a time, but that is not right.  More like take one hour at time.  I was wondering about you lately. You and your family will be in our prayers. Contact me anytime if you need.

My prayers are with you and your family i don't know how it feels to lose a child and i can't imagine losing one of my kids but stay strong and always remember god got your back.

I am so sorry to hear that. I will to keep you and your family in my prayers. I know as a mother you never want to have to bury your child, so my heart goes out to you. I know that you are in so much pain, but I pray that God will give your strength. I hope the police catch the person who murdered your son!

my God!  give this woman the strength and encouragement to carry on.  Help her to cope, help her to rise, help her to find peace.  

I do not know you but I know how devastation feels.  Although my son wasn't murdered, which no one can ever understand something so tragic, so final, so unfair....I do feel as though I've lost my son in another way.  At the age of 18, he was arrested and now serving a total of 19 years in state prison for watching one of his "so-called friend" nearly beat a man to death and rob him.  The "friend" admitting doing so, but all three boys received the punishments.  All my life I dedicated my life to him and his siblings.  I bought the very house I am now walking away from, for my son to be closer to his school of choice!  They were all private schooled all their lives.  So the amount of devastation is INDESCRIBABLE.  Its very hard to even rise outta bed half the time.  I'm now on meds, practically lost all my hair, and its been a year since the devastation.  It was so terrible, I cancelled our original wedding plans for last summer!  The anger, hurt, and pain is spread throughout my family like a toxin!  

for you my WBC sister, i suggest this:  FIND A SUPPORT GROUP.  one that there are other mom's going thru the very same thing.  It may help you cope.  and Pray.  This will be the main time in your life where you RELY on prayer.  Do it daily and do it often.  Then stay busy.  Do things you enjoy, things that don't keep you sitting by yourself often.  That's when trauma set in.  If you ever need a friend to chat with, i'm only an email away:-)  cyoung6557@aol.com

Prayers and love from Iowa. May God bring you strength and some sort of peace and faith to get through such a rough time. A good friend of mine who passed away in a car accident last Dec left me with the phrase " If God brings us to it, he brings us through it" and it has stuck with me in every case. Not sure if it applies to something as hard as the loss of a child, but I pray that it helps. Best wishes.
