Worried About Dress

My mother says that my dress is too formal for the location of my wedding. Now I'm second guessing the dress that I fell in love with:-(

Why does she have to do this to me? What do you guys think?

I think you should wear the dress you've fallen in love with. Let's face it - you only do this once - so you get one dress - and you're probably not ever going to look back on your wedding day and say "hmmm, my dress was too formal for my location" - but you will probably say "hmmm - I really LOVED my dress - I'm so glad I wore that dress".  It's your wedding - have a good time and feel beautiful in the dress that YOU fell in love with.

Definitely wear the dress. It's gorgeous and would look great with your location. Believe me. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't comment. Not that me liking it matters but YOU obviously like it too sooooo! Wear it!, Lol...

Girl work that dress on your big day!  You will not feel right if your not wearing the dress you love.  Don't worry about the location...the bride sets the tone of the wedding.  Mothers have a right to their opinion but the bride has the final say...at least for the wedding that is. :)

Always, Always, Always go with your first gut instinct.  Wear that dress and be a DIVA!!!  You own the day, the emotions and energy ... everyone else will follow your lead.  Be happy, confident and know that you are GORGEOUS!   If you love your dress it will be contagious. So go for it! :)  

btw. if i listened to my friends and family i would never have the guts to choose my wedding dress (which is as non-traditional as it comes).  Other people can have their own decisions on things for their own wedding day.  This is yours!
