The Wedding Went Beautifully!!!
I don't have much time now but I thought I'd share a pic or two of the actual outcome of the big day!! It was incredible and SO much fun!! I think everyone had a blast!! YAY!!!

Wedding Dress
Finally....better late than never!!
So I have finally got some pictures of my dress. I know it's like 5 days before the wedding but hey...better late than never right!?
i can't believe it is already here!! I'm so excited but totally stressed...my list keeps getting longer it seems as things get closer...yikes!! Well...I'll try posting one more time before if I can...if not I'll post pics from the wedding :o) |

My "Bridesman" Can't Do It....
He can't be in my wedding party anymore.
So I'm a lil bummed because I got a call from my best friend Carl whom I had only a couple weeks earlier asked to be in my wedding party and he said that he cannot be in my party anymore. He is living out of state and he is planning on coming to the wedding but he will not be headed home until the morning of the wedding which means he is not sure what time it will be exactly when he arrives and so he told me that he'd rather juz be able to attend the wedding so that I don't have to rely on him to be there and put the money into the tux and blah blah blah. Well I'm totally ok with it and I understand that he can't give me a gaurantee that he'll be there for everything so it's ok....but it still bums me out juz a lil cause I was very excited to have him in my party. Guess now I am juz thankful that he is going to be there anyway :o)
PS: We are leaving the day after tomorrow for home!! For good!! We are moving back! That means that I will actually get to post some pics of my dress.....bet ya'll never thought I was gonnna get to that part did ya!! And I'll be able to post other fun stuff that has been done for the wedding while I have been living out of state. So be prepared!! Yay!! |

Where does the flower go???
So I have umpted for a flower in my hair rather than the headband I had originally picked out. I juz don't want a lot of glitter. My question is where abouts to I wear the flower in my hair??
I am wearing my hair half back and wearing a veil as well. Maybe I'm going to have to wear my hair in an updo in order to achieve the flower affect. What do you think?? I need some suggestions please!! Thanx all! |

Honestly....how bad could it be??
So I believe I mentioned in my last post that I have decided to put my best (male) friend, Carl, in my wedding party. I call him my "bridesman"!
My question is....how bad is it that I am putting him in the same pink as my girls. He is still going to be in a black tux obviously but I am going to have him wear both a pink vest and tie (like the color shown). Now Carl said he's fine with it but Trav laughed at me and told me he couldn't believe I was going to make Carl wear bright pink. See the dad's are gonna be in pink too but it's a pastel pale pink. I dunno...I was juz curious if any of you other gals have run into this scenario. Maybe I'll have to make Carl's tie black like the groomsmen. Maybe then he won't look so "pink". But I really would rather him match my girls as much as I can. What do you girls think?? All pink...pink w/black tie or no pink at all and put him in green like the groomsmen??? |

Tie It All Together....
So the planning has some what come to a stand still lately juz because we are still in Arizona and we won't be back home until the 8th and we sort of kind of did EVERYTHING we could while we were home the 2nd week in May. I juz thought I'd put everything I have collected and loved thus far together juz for fun!! I'd really appreciate ANY comments, advise or what not from all of you. I'm so nervous that it's not going to work out the way I am dreaming!! I so hope it does!!! Thanx all!!

Wedding Party
The General Thought Day Of....
So this is what we are hoping it will turn out to look like the day of the wedding. His 2 groomsmen in sage my 3 "bridesmaids" in fuschia and our 2 flower girls in all 3 colors. I know it's a lil lop-sided since I added my "bridesman" but I don't really care...I want him in my line and that's final! :oD Let me know what ya all think....thanx!!

Odds And Ends...
Change of mind....mind made up....and more...
Ok all so this blog is simply to unload all the latest on the things that I ahve decided, not decided and juz some "lookie lookies"!!
First off I have decided to put my best friend Carl in the wedding after all. I had originally decided it would be kinda dumb to put the poor guy in my line and make him wear a bright pink tux to match my girls *giggle* but I have decided now that I juz can't live without hiim in my wedding, so we are putting him in! I am going to put him in a black tux juz like the groomsman but with a fuschia tie and vest whereas the groomsmen are in sage so that he will match my girls. I am very happy with my decision and he agreed to do it. I believe I will have him walk the isle w/my youngest flower girl and have the other two girls follow. I'm totally stoked! Second I have found some pics of ALMOST exactly how I want my flowers to look!! Exciting! I don't want this perfectly put together arangement on any of my decor or bouquest I juz want my flowers plopped together in a natural looking way and I found one (pic #1) and I love it!! It's the flowers I have chosen in an arrangement I appreciate!! Perfecto!! Third is that I found a pic of a cake that I love love love! The only changes will be that where the lil green dots line the bottom of each layer there will actually be green and pink plaid ribbon and the cake is going to be square layers. YAY!!! Finally I found a pic of the perfect bout for the guys!! I love the berries w/the roses rather than my original thought of juz the berries and I think they will match w/my all around floral idea much better!! Well...that wasn't so bad now was it?? Hahaha!!! Let me know what you think all and thanx so much for all your previous help and ideas!! |

Wedding Hair Style
I just can't make up my mind....help!!
So I can't decide weather I really want to try my hair half down again....I had (in a previous post) decided that I hated it down and wanted it all up but I keep changing my mind because I love my hair down and curly and flowy so I thought I'd put it all up but I got to thinking maybe if I juz pull a little more back than I had when we tried it maybe I'd like it better. AAAHHH!! I juz dunno what to do. Help!! Please...Let me know what you think.... I juz really need some help!!

Reception Treats....
Yummies for our guests at the reception...
So for the reception treats we have decided on having a huge fruit and vegetable bar as well as giant sheet cakes and (MY FAVORITE) fruit shots!!! I think they will be so cute and fun!! It'll be a challenge keeping them frozen in mid summer heat but we have some good ideas that I think will work! YAY!!
*UPDATE* Sorry all wasn't exactly thinkin' when I posted this. The fruit shots are usually juz a mix of whatever fruit you want w/vanilla ice cream and a lil milk. The ones that we are doing we are juz using sherberts mixed w/milk w/the fruit cabobs. I woiuld imagine you could make alcoholic ones as well but for the sake of "surviving" the peeps in my family ours are non!! Sorry all!! |
