Hello lovelies :)

Me and Pete have been on holiday and had a good old wedding talk as I felt he wasn't interested and he said 'all I want to do is marry you, you girls love the planning and you change your mind so often, it's best to leave it to you' - Yay! So he's going to listen to my ideas & agree if he's okay with it which suits me perfectly :)

We've agreed on a different date now as his best friends getting married a week after us so we've had to change it :( but it's an okay date & it's what Pete wants so I'm good with it :)

It's now the 26th of July 2014 :) and we're going to see the vicar in the next couple of weeks, yay!

Hello girls :)

I've been running on in my posts yet you don't know a thing about me or my FH so thought id have a ramble about us!

so I live in a place called Norfolk in England - really cute county with lots of coastline, fields and sheep! Ha! If we lived closer to the sea, I'd want a beach wedding but alas, no :(

I'm only 19 and my FH is 21 but we've been together 3 and a half years after meeting online :) lived together for 2 and he's my best friend (we've also worked together for 3 years)

I'm a supervisor of checkouts in a huugeee supermarket and he's a supervisor on the shop floor so it works :)

My chief bridesmaid says 'lish is a chatterbox, complete and utter loon who never fails to make you laugh, honest, fiery with a bark worse than her bite but an insanely loyal friend' - so that's me (apparently :P)

Pete is shy until he's around me or family/friends, the most honest person I know, funny, loyal, mischievous, the best uncle ever to our nieces and nephews and so laid back he's horizontal :) plus a hugeeee football and gaming fan zzzzzzzzzzz.... ;)

So that's us and as you'll come to find during our wedding planning, I'm extremely indisicive, so much so, that Pete switches off until I actually book things, oops :P

ive been MIA for a month as we've been busy sorting out our home, its so lovely! We've lived together for 2 years anyway but FH seems to have picked up even more bad habits! haha! Plus we're awaiting out internet so i cant wedding plan at the moment :( So the magazines are out in force!

I've now started my scrapbook! Yay! i REALLY dont want to cut up my wedding magazines though so did you ladies cut up your magazines or print lots off to go in your books?

Hello ladies,

Been a while since I've been on here as my computer won't let me on the site but my iPad will :/. Strange huh?

And Ive been so busy sorting out our move, which is this friday!!! So exciting!!! :)
Our little home is beautiful and i can't wait to fill it with memories and laughter :)

I've been looking through 'wedding ideas' magazine and they have real life wedding sections so after looking at those, I'm seriously thinking about a pastel colour theme as I think red is too wintery and I would like something light and fresh, what do you ladies think?

Plus we've changed our reception venue as we don't think it's what we want anymore and now looking at beautiful marquees, yay!

We had our party on saturday and it was a great night! We finished partying at 1.30ish then came home to open all our cards and presents together so it was perfect :) we got £700 worth of money/vouchers plus champagne, cakes, chocolate and our favourite thing, a clock with our picture on from my future SIL :)

If ive learnt anything from having an engagement party, its, get your nails done the day before then you dont get the gross jobs like making egg sandwiches haha!

A few people let us down but the people that were there had an incredible time and we had songs sung to us and songs dedicated to us so it was perfect!

Hi girlies!

So my engagement party is just over a week away and with planning the party, juggling a full time job, trying to lose weight & trying to move out, im feeling rushed off my feet!

I dread to think how planning my wedding is going to make me feel! haha!


Stressing about work due to feeling like im one of the only one pulling my weight then having people being pain's when it comes to getting stuff done for the party then moving is also being a pain, argh!

BUT

on a good note, we've got all the money for moving, YAY! =D then ive lost half a stone in 12 days which people have noticed which is lovely, yay!

So, the invites for the engagement party are ALMOST done, thank god! My hand is literally screaming at my everytime i pick up the pen to finish another.

Our engagement party is going to be quite a big thing to us as not everyone who will be at our engagement party will be at our wedding or wedding reception so it's a nice oppertunity to have everyone who means something to us together =D

It's also the first time my FH's extended family are meeting my extended family so we're quite excited to see everyone together =D

The lady who is meant to be sorting out our balloons for the party hasn't got back to us - its been 5 day's now since she was meant to call so i'm starting to get slightly annoyed now! so a pop to her shop tomorrow should sort that out - fingers crossed :)

BUT on the upside, our cake is ordered (the picture is an idea of what we like - something simple but pretty)

Getting excited to celebrate now :)

We've booked our engagement party for the 11th of Feburary 2012 :) the invites are in the process of being wrote out to close family & friends and now deciding which work collegues & friends to invite.

Did any of you lady's have an engagement party?
If you did, how did you decorate your tables?

We're going for an engagement meal tonight with our immidiate family to celebrate - excited! :)

I've choosen 4 beautiful girls to be my bridesmaids.

Sarah - Maid of Honor - My FH's sister
Roxy - Chief Bridesmaid - Best friend since Primary school
Sofia - Bridesmaid - Best friend for last 4 years
Kelly - Bridesmaid - Cousin & best friend

I really want to have a flower girl, but not to sure what to do as my FH's nieces are all under 5 & would love to be a part of the wedding as a bridesmaid or flower girl but then theirs also my cousin Tegan who i'd love to have in the wedding but i dont think its practical to have 4 little bridesmaid's and 4 adult bridesmaids. Plus then theirs my FH's nephews (3 of them) plus my cousin who are all under 7 meaning if i had all of them it would come to 4 young bridesmaids, 4 adult bridesmaids and 4 page boys which is expensive + unrealistic!

So, i think im going to have to be cruel to be kind & have my cousin as a flower girl with my 4 adult bridesmaid and leave it at that?!?!?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my ring! It's exactly what i would have picked myself, fits like a dream AND he picked it all himself! =D

3 years seems like a very long time away, which it is but im a perfectionist and we're moving in April so we're saving up for that still meaning, although my lovely dad is helping to pay for our wedding, we're going to take a while to save for it =D i know certain aspects i want already, such as my four lovely bridesmaids! =D

already bought a couple of bridal magazines and been looking on here at other peoples beautiful weddings - obsessed! ha =D
