Ceremony Music

I didn't want the typical bridal march.

We went over the Ceremony Music with our DJ today and Brian mentioned that he wanted to use the Forrest Gump Theme song.

It's beautiful!

And it has meaning.

Two days before Brian's dad was killed in a car accident, his dad sent him a video montage through email about "What if I were to meet God today?" It was played to the Forrest Gump theme song.

I am walking down the aisle to that song and so now it can have double meaning.

The mothers and grandmothers are walking down to that song in our ceremony :)  it is beautiful - but for us, we are just putting "Suite" on the ceremony programs instead of "Forrest Gump Suite" so that people aren't giggling as my mother walks down the aisle - but for you, that is awesome and will mean so much for years to come to you and your FH :)

I never thought of that!!!! Maybe we will just put suite on the programs as well and possibly explain it somewhere, and possibly just keep it between me, him, and his immediate family.
