This is bride2010's Purple Wedding!

My ring is gorgeous it is set in 18 carat white gold and the diamond is just over 1carat. It is AMAZING!!!! My prince went over the top for me!!!xox

It was Sunday Morning around 10 am and Dave then began asking me to go to Ottawa with him to finish up some Christmas Shopping and pop by to see his Sister Kim as her and her husband Steve had just had a new baby girl. I had come down with a terrible cold that Wednesday so therefore did not think it was a good idea to go see the new baby. Dave casual as ever said well if you are ready by 12 noon I would like if you come with me we won't be long, I just need to pick up a few things and stop by and say congratulations to Kim and Steve and tell them we will see them over the holidays. I kept pleading to Dave I was not feeling well but it was a deal if I was ready by 12 I would accompany him to Ottawa. So off I went to the bathroom to soak in a nice hot bath, and then I got out talked with my mom and then decided to start blowing drying my hair and then I laid around. Anyone that know me I am always late! And to my surprise it was only 5 minutes past 12, when I went to tell Dave I was ready. He was shocked! And we laughed amongst ourselves that I was ready in decent timing!!! So we are off to Ottawa and enjoying some casual conversation on our venture to the capital for what I thought was some last minute Christmas shopping, boy was I wrong.
We got into Ottawa and Dave says to me I thought I would tell you babe what I wanted to give you for Christmas won't be in on time. So Dylan and I happened to find this new tack shop so I thought we could go there and you can pick out whatever you want. I was so happy and was excited to go look at some new horse supplies. As we continued to drive farther and farther off the Montreal exit, through farm country I began stating Dave maybe you should turn around this is way to far to go for a little Christmas gift, he was like I know I didn't realize it was this far I just put it in the GPS and followed the directions, although he continued to drive. And we went farther and farther and then there it was a farm with a sign out, that I didn't even read so oblivious to what was going on, and there they were two huge gorgeous clydsdale horses hooked up to a beautiful sleigh. I looked at Dave with a huge smile he said Merry Christmas Babe I thought it would be a nice Christmas gift. I was like nice it is truly amazing!!! With a permanent smile on my face I climbed up into the sleigh and covered up in the beautiful red fuzzy blanket and we were off. It was absolutely Beautiful out on this trail going through huge fields and over snow covered olden wooden bridges, it was a dream!!! And then the driver hands back a gorgeous silver icebox with a bottle of champagne and two glasses. Dave poured each of us a glass and we continued on our way enjoying this incredible scenery and the sound of the horses hooves crunching through the hard snow. I then asked Dave to go to the other side of the sleigh and take a picture of me and when he went to come back over to sit with me he dropped down on one knee and pulled out this gorgeous white gold solitaire and said Kerri will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife? And I will do everything I can to make you the happiest girl in the world! .......And I filled with so many emotions I have never felt before and the tears started pouring AND I said YES!!!!!!!!! We hugged and Kissed and lived in this fairytale moment and enjoyed the rest of our sleigh ride and the rest of the champagne! Cheers to a future filled with love xo
