I'm from Norfolk, Virginia and now I live in Mobile, Alabama with my fiance which is where he's from.  We're also having the wedding down here because ALL of his family lives within 30 mins. or so from here...the farthest at most might be close to an hour lol!!  But ALL of my family are spread out all over the country and even Canada too cause that's where my mom was born and raised so most of her side of the family still lives up there.  So even though I would love to get married in my hometown, really it just doesn't make sense to have my family AND my fiance's family all travel to VA for the wedding...I mean regardless my family (except for my parents who still live in VA) would all have to travel to come to our wedding whether it was down here in AL or in my hometown...so if all my family has to travel regardless, why would we make it harder on my fiance's family to be able to come to the wedding by making them travel close to 1,000 miles whenever we can just have it here??!!  So anyways my parents will have to travel, and my MOH and one of my bridesmaids...but other than that most of our guests will already be right here in AL and won't have to drive far at all!!

I am originally from southern California.....Mojave Desert area......but now I reside in Mt. Morris NY.......my FH is from a town 20 mins from where we bought our first house (pics of house on my page :)   We are getting married in Dansville NY (FH hometown) because that's where both of our families are and that's where my parents grew up and I will be getting married in the same church that my parents did 30 years ago.......
