DIY Wedding
Programs

I started the programs yesterday. But after we started them I started thinking we should of started them waaaaay earlier! lol.

I got the design template from http://www.ayleebits.com/tag/template/
I added in what I wanted on them and then took them to staples and printed them out. They were 16 cents a sheet so it cost me about $21 for 130...not too bad.

Then I went to Michaels and spent $8.99 on paint, popsicles sticks and ribbon.

So in the end the programs cost me about $30.

Good news...we had my bachelorette party the night before and we did the "suck for a buck" and I came home with $43! (not including the money I threw down on some shots) So my programs were paid for! haha


Thank you to my mom and sister/MOH for helping cut out the programs :)

My sister made a shirt and just wrote "suck for a buck" on it. Then safety pinned Life Savers on it. Then I had to go around the bars and get people to take them off for a dollar. You can have them just take them off or take them off with their mouths. I was totally against it cause I thought it would be no fun but once I got started it was soooo much fun. People started giving me even $5!

My bridesmaids are coming next saturday for an assembly party, any advice on tools for cutting them out around the edges or sis the printing company do that for you?

I took them to staples to have them printed and they said they would cut them out for 99cents a page. For us we'd rather save the money and cut them out ourselves. Unfortunatly it is time comsuming!! We just got the scissors out and went at it. I would definatly suggest (Unless you are set on it) an easier pattern. All the edges are what makes it soooo time consuming to do. But if you have all your girls come over it might make it go a little faster! My mom and sister helped over the weekend and my fiance have been working on them all week and we still don't have them all cut out or put together. But they're coming along!! Good luck!!
