Ask a Question
Help i need some weight loss tips, What are you ladies doing?
I finally said "yes to the dress" now ive decided that I will not order the dress until I lose some inches, and I did this so that it would be motivation to get started to lose weight for the wedding and honeymoon in general. Good idead right?!?! LOL well not so much because during the holidays I litterally have tried not to give in to office potlucks and holiday parties, but just when I think I've done really good I step on the scale and I actually gained some of the weight I lost back. This has casued me to get unmotivatied and I'm thinking obviously I'm doing something wrong. I've tried everything, working out at the gym , weight watchers, zumba classes, jogging/walking and I'm getting minimal results. So ladies I need your help what are you guys doing that's working for you? Help a sistah out!!!

Bridesmaids
How i asked my Bridesmaids to be in my wedding.
I have sooo many girls that I wanted to be in my wedding but I was only able to narrow it down to 5 girls that I have know through it all. So I ended up with a maitron and a maid of honor and 3 BM. I took 4 of them out to a girls brunch where we had mimosas and the other I had to mail it to bc she's in Cali :(. I had found a seller on ESTY.com that made some awsome invites for me and they came in boxs with a satinpale pink ribbon and in the box I had a leaf nexklace with five leafs that represented my five girls!. Anywho during lunch I called the one in Cali and had her on speaker phone. I asked them all to open up their boxes and they all were taken back by the gesture and excited at the same time. I knew that I had to do something special for my girls that wouls set the tone of my wedding and it was def a mission accomplished!

The Proposal
How the he proposed!
We had a lovely 5 course candelite dinner at home and had two bottles of wine, and at that rate I thought that we were in for the night because neither of us was able to drive. To my surprise he charted a limo to pick us up and dropped us off in downtown chicago in front of navy pier. We walked around and enjoyed the fresh air. When he decided to go on the gigantic ferris wheel, which was alway my fav thing to do even though we both are terrified of heights. It wasn't until we got to the top of the ferris wheel where the city views are just breath taking he got down on one knee and proposed! I teared up and cried and all of the heartfelt things he said and when I saw the ring I cried and smilled and cried some more. After the ferris wheel he then took me to build a bear where we made a bride bear!
