I am having some trouble deciding a date. Currently I have two dates in mind January 2nd or somewhere in spring. At first I was ready for December 5th or 6th since it's towards Christmas which is my favorite Holiday. But my mother who wants to be my wedding planner can't help out since that month is her busy time. So I changed my date to the 2nd of January. It's great since school is out and the kids can actually visit for a good while since my cousins live five to eight hours away from here. BUT my problem is would people come since it's on a "Holiday" and their money has been burnt by the Holidays that just pass. Plus not all the flowers will be bloomed since it is rather cold here. That's where a spring wedding comes in. But my question is, does prices go up since it's during spring break and will places be booked?
Nya, I am rather lost at the moment.
It is possible that people may not have the cash to come to your wedding if it's over Christmas, but if you give enough advanced notice people can save for it. If they want to be there, they'll find a way, unless they had serious financial trouble.
You can get some flowers year round. Talk to florists to get ideas and prices of flowers in your area.
I have decided to aim for Spring-ish since I want an outdoor wedding and the locations I've checked out so far are beautiful during the Spring when all the flowers are in bloom.
