Planning a wedding in a short amount of time
Would you dare?
Hmm, I don't know what happened to the posts I made. . Sorry that it was blank! Ha ha, I look like such a newbie. Anyway, I'm from Michigan and am an American librarian living/working in Ontario, Canada. Our wedding is in my fiance's hometown of Huntsville, Alabama or somewhere near there. Our wedding is in 47 days and we still don't have a venue picked out! I know, I know we're crazy. The world's biggest procrastinators. We're looking at everywhere from the art museum, different chapels, and outdoor venues such as parks and mountain-side venues. . . .all of which needs to be planned in less than two months! Ahhhh! Any suggestions?

Lol...the only suggestions I have are to stay focused & recruit some good helpers:)  I definitely believe that this is doable, because I remember seeing on one of those wedding shows how a bride had waited til the last minute, & pulled off their wedding in 2 weeks!  I know she had help, & was able to allocate the funds quickly, which was a plus.  I wish you the best, & from the looks of things, you have great taste, so I believe everything will work out just fine!  Plus, you have a FH who is willing to help out, which is great on the emotions during this time.  Hang in there1

We are with you sister:)

James and I are brutal! Not that we are huge procrastinator's, but we start things and well, other things seem to catch our eye... leaving nothing but a trail of dust where we once were, we are off and running to bigger and better things!

That said...we too have yet to pick a location for our ceremony, but know that it will be in Carcassone, France.

As far as the city is concerned, they could care less where we choose to marry and since we wanted an outdoor wedding it hasn't been arranged!

Not to suggest I have stopped looking into places, but I guess at the end of the day I would be happy marrying on a street corner in a little french village so long as it were picturesque;)

Take deep breaths and ride the wave...it'll all come together:)

I feel ya girl..I just did all my planning in the last month. I just finalized my reception venue last week and got a wedding planner week before. We're getting married on the same day So I definitely ya.
