More DIY projects. . .
My To-Do List never ends.

We are having favors at the wedding of water bottles with labels (in the Alabama heat, it will be much appreciated) and at the ceremony we are having seed packets - trying to be green. We are also doctoring up the bubbles we bought at Micheal's. Has anyone else used the water bottle favor or seed packets? What do you think?

We are also doing the personalized CD favors and FH made some awesome CD inserts which I will post when he saves it as a proper file :)

Wow, well the others were hard on you with the "green" aspect, but I suppose it is turning into such a trendy thing to say "green"  I am having the seed packets primarily because I think they are super cute, sort-of original, and my honey and I love to garden.  I also was thinking of the water bottles just because we will probably have water bottles anyways, so why not customize.

I made water bottles..... it was super easy and they are super cute..  hope my guest like them we will find out soon.....we are also having pesonalized m&ms at the reception

Careful with water bottles.  Went to wedding with personalized water bottles.  They were all nicely displayed on ice...but when you took a bottle the label would slide off.

When you make your personalized water bottles, make sure you print the labels on vellum and use hot glue to attach them so that they won't slip off or bleed when the bottles sweat in the heat!

I made water bottle labels.. they worked out great. I bought them online at www.onlinelabels.com THey are waterproof.. so they won't smudge. ANd they are adhesive.. so you just stick them on. I put on 5 cases (24 bottles each) in about an hour. I will post a picture soon!

I guess I did not properly word what I meant - we are doing the seed packets to counteract the fact that we are having water bottles at a ceremony outdoors in Alabama.  I am not trying to be "trendy" - I live a very environmentally friendly/vegetarian lifestyle.  I know the water bottles stay forever in a landfill somewhere, but we need to have water at an outdoor ceremony in August in Alabama.  I appreciate your concern, however.
