i think we might have our wedding site hopefully. we are going to take a tour of it on monday & talk to them about pricing and stuff lets cross our fingers that it works : )

so its 8 months before the wedding and we still dont have a ceremony site or reception site!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because i really didn't want to do it in a church

now i dont know if this is good or bad but im freaking out really bad.... everywhere we call say we can't have the ceremony there unless we have the reception there but they want ALOT of $$$ that we dont exactly have for just cake and punch and wont allow outside caterers AHHHH i need help

so as of last night we need to find another get away vehicle because ours was totalled last night.

my fiance ryan had an 06 Chevy Colorado with the suicide doors so its a pretty small vehicle... but anyways we had just left Verizon wireless and we were cutting through traffic because ryan got inpatient and we thought everything was clear but before we knew it someone t boned us... it was really scary and everyone there said i was lucky because if she would have hit any hire i would have been really hurt. Luckily everyone was ok... except the cars both were totalled but im sure someone will let us borrow theirs if not im sure we can find another car between now and January.

but the bed is completely twisted, the frame is bent, you can't open either of the doors on the passenger side, the windshield is cracked... its bad... i wish there was something i could do for him because i know how much he loved that truck : (

but like i said the most important thing is everyone is ok... some of us went to the hospital but it wasn't bad. we are all a little banged up.. me more than others but everyone walked away unharmed.

-Reserve the musicians and soloist for our ceremony

For a while i was wearing my moms first engagement ring from my step dad which ment alot to both of us because they have been happily married for 8 years now : )

well i really didn't know what style of engagment ring i wanted...i kept flipping through magazines looking but i never fount one that i liked... well Ryan ( my fiance) fount one he liked at Shane Co. so we went in to go look at it... unfortunatly they didn't have the one he wanted so he also suggested i look for me an engagement ring while we were there.... well the lady took us all the way around the store case to case and i didn't see anything i liked... finally the last one she pulled out was it!

it has one center diamond and smaller ones going around the center and on all three bands. yes thats right it came with two bands... but im having trouble deciding wether or not i want to wear one and wait for our 1 year to put the other one on or wear both... hmmmm... wat are you guys doing?

My mom talked to her cousin Venus and before and after the twins were born she baked cakes for a living. She emailed me some pictures and they were beautiful. so i posted a picture of a cake i like and i think its going to be the one. i have to email the picture to my cousin venus first to find out if she can do it but i think she can.

***UPDATE***

so we finally got the bottom of the catering thing. and she did not inform us that it is $150 per 25 people. so we are going to stick with our original idea of doing the catering ourselfs. its cheaper and we are all about saving money for this wedding.




so something really weird happened today... i was on the phone with my God mom (she is really helping me plan this) but she was in walmart getting her tires changed when a lady that worked there over heard us talking about the weding and said that she is starting her own catering business and offered to do our wedding for $150 and that includes the food, dishes to put it on, and the table... she also told me aunt that she knew a D.J and a photographer.... im a little bit skeptical about it becuase

1. she is just starting out (but who knows she might be pretty good that and everyone has to start out somewhere)

2. the price just sounds too good to even be true (although with her just starting out once again it may actually be good)

but she gave my aunt her phone number & the phone number to the photographer and d.j.... and i was on the phone while all this was happening and i asked if she could set up a tasting with us and she said that was fine.

she lets you make your own menu, she sets up and cleans up, and she sounds really friendly....

what would you guys do... it sounds way to good to be true but im also worried on how the presentation will look.... i dont want something cheap looking... i dont know what would you do?

so i have a step dad && a godfather who is suppose to walk down with me && give me away?

my godfather has been there since birth but my step dad was there for 8 years... i dont want either one to feel left out.... what would be a way i could work both of them in?

so i have talked to one of my bridesmaids a little bit about the first picture of the decorations... she said that ai could replace the red napkins with maybe black ones to break up the red over powering and i thought about what if we put the black napkins with a smaller white so it didn't look so dark?

&& those center pieces i do not like at all... im trying to think of what we could do in the middle because i really didn't want flowers in the reception hmmm....

i like all of the pictures maybe i could find a way to take a little from each && throw it into the reception?

what if i used the picture frame guest book for my bridal party && the bride && grooms parents?
Would that look ok?

so he already purposed once to me && of course i said yes.
well he said he wanted to do it in person && wanted to do it
when i least expected it.

The day was great we woke up got ready && went to the mall to look at engagement rings and spent some time at his grandparents house && then we had a bbq at his house with the family.

Everything that night was PERFECT! we went to the movies to see the movie 21 && it was a 10pm showing so we didn't get home till 2am && as we were walking up the stairs to the house he stopped right as he opened the door and told me to wait outside ...

well i was totally FREEZING my butt off outside sitting on the porch swing when he comes outside and gets down on one knee and purposes with my moms first engagement ring : )

it was so sweet!
