Wedding Favors

So as you all know I either wanted the Caricature Artist or the Photo Booth. The Photo Booth is out of our budget and the Caricature can only do 15 an hour. That means not everyone would get one made with a time frame of 4 hrs. Which sucks, I really did like this idea as a wedding favor.
Lil sis and I were search the web for favor ideas and came across this Paper Weights Diamonds. They come in an ivory favor box like the picture shown and I could add my ribbon and monogram. I like this idea cuz I know everyone could use them as dec or an actually paper weight.The price isn't out of budget..much cheaper than the other 2 ideas I had. I would actually save $250.
Would you like a favor like this or do you think I should keep looking?

I think it is an awesome favour for the ladies, but I really don't think the men will appreciate it as much.
If you are having assigned seating maybe you could do the diamonds for the women and something else for the men?

Keep looking, I love the bling but I dont think ive ever actually used a paper weight... it will prob be left behind or just put in a junk drawer. I think something more useful would be better but in the end its your choice.

I bought some of these to use as decor on my toppings buffet and I am using them as decor in my house, but I agree men won't really be able to use them and a lot of people won't know what to do with them...you might end up with a lot of favors wasted.

I agree with kristah. I think it would be great for the ladies but I don't think the men will enjoy it. Maybe give these to the ladies but give something else to the guys. Or,  keep looking for something that can be for both genders.

To all the ladies thanks for the input.. Do any of you's have an ideas for the men. Most of my guest are couples so i figured that the woman would def benefit from this...

@kittieswed  I checked out it becomes expensive for at least 50..I was looking at the beer glass $1.21 comes out to $300 and change.=(

i'm having a hard time finding favors too! i don't want to waste money on something people won't use! I was looking at efavormart.com and they had some cute wine bottle stoppers for only $1.49 each and also check on discountmugs again, they have cute little shotglasses that range from $1 to $2 apiece, it's just the shipping on the bigger glasses that make it so expensive (around $70 bucks extra!), good luck ;)
