Ask a Question
Peacock Centerpiece's: Advice Needed Plzz

Hello Ladies,
Just want to apologize in advance this will probably be
my longest post ever,lol!

I def could use your input, suggestions and help. I love
flowers need less to say, that's why I am so stressed
about centerpieces. A couple of weeks ago I went to the
florist with my mother. I was so nerves and kinda all over
the place with my ideas. The florist was great. She helped
me narrow down my choices, which still has me at a stand
point. I want to talk to 2 other florist to get quotes. The quote
that was given was over budget my $450. But before I go out
again maybe you girls could point me in the right direction
and tell what you think about what I came up with so far.

There are 2 centerpieces that I absolutely LOVE! One is a
centerpiece from Nidhal WBC Bride & another I found in
the Alabama Wedding Magazine. I will go through the flowers
and deco so you get a go idea of my inspiration. I am so
wondering if I should do something with more color
beside different shades of pinks??

Ceremony:
Posted in the post below. But I will be adding aisle
stands with hanging crystals and ribbon.

wow I also love everything lol maybe you could lower costs by changing the bridesmaids from roses to pink hydrangea with the orchid (they are generally cheaper and large so they take up more room therefore needing less stems), and I love the all pink, its not to much since you have different shades to make it interesting , I think whatever you chose its going to look beautiful!

@nandd2011 Thanks for your input and advice! The florist did state that I could use a different size vase to reduce the price, which I could definitely live with. I guess I am just confused on the colors. I don't want to over do it with pink, but thinking at the same time that the different shades would balance it out.

@Joanne hey you! Welcome back too, lol. Thank you for your sweet words. You def did help!! My bouquet will be like pic2 with the purple orchids. Bridesmaids bouquet will be more like pic 2 with the orchids. I am thinking I am going to change the size of the vase, the florist explained to me that the centerpiece size can be in a smaller size vase(she showed me the vase she would use in my quote, which was so freakin big, so I could down size without any hesitation, lol.) to reduce the cost. At least I know that I wasn't buggin about the colors, that was my biggest problem, lmao.
