Im starting to think of puting out wedding programs together. At least a rough draft. Besides the order of the ceremony what else do you typically put in the program? Do you list the Bridal party or the grandparents. Im not quite sure what to do. Its hard to make a rough draft when you have no idea what all goes in it.???

So, Bryan and I do not live together and we aren't going to until the day we say "I DO" We only have 2 months before we get married, when do you think I should start moving my stuff in and BEFORE I move my stuff in we need to organize and clean all his stuff too? See I know the weekends are great but In March, Im not lieing we have something going on every single weekend except ONE! Then its April---the first weekend is my Bachelorette party and the second weekend Im getting married. I don't want to move all my stuff in too soon, for obvious reaons because i wont have anything here. Any of you brides have any ideas? Any Brides that dont live with your fiance now that will be moving in before you get married...when will you be moving in Even ladies that live with their fiance I could use your tips and advice as well. Also we are looking at a house but we know that we wont be able to move in ( if everthing works out) the spring so we will need to be in his apartment for a while ( which is pretty small) if any of you ladies have any ideas of how to maximize a small space that would be wonderful!!!!

For my wedding Im going to have my Aunt sing the Song "Butterfly Kisses" If you have never heard the song its a really cute song for Daddys Little Girls. Anyway....as soon as I make it up the aisle to Bryan my Aunt is going to sing it before My Dad gives me away. ITS A SUPRISE----AT THIS POINT HE HAS NO IDEA :)

My guestion is.... I was thinking of having a slide show play while my aunt was singing---pictures of me and my Dad. My only problem is I don't know if it will take away the attention of the song if people are busy watching a slide show?? If you have heard the song before you know the last verse is about walking down the aisle and giving his daughter away. I was thinking of having the slide show STOP at the last verse so that everyones attention is on the words, but I dont know if it would be better to just skip the whole slide show. What do you think???

My wedding is in about 2 months and 11 days or so. Its coming so fast!! Ive been wanting to go tanning for my wedding since I first got engaged, but I knew it was way to soon. Now, with my wedding only being a couple months away is it too early to start now?? I was thinking about going 2 times a week up until the middle of march and then the last 2 or 3 weeks before my wedding maybe going 1 time a week just to maintain it. What do you think? My other guestion is how many days in between should I go. Like if I went on a monday and a friday by the time I go back on friday will mondays tan have disappeared? I have NEVER gone tanning before so I am all new to this. The days don't really matter because I live less than 10 minutes away from a salon. Also before I started working in an office I used to be tan all the time. Im the type that tans quickly and keeps it for a long time, but since I haven't been tan in such a long time I dont know if it will take longer now. Any suggestions would be great!! I am just really white and we are going to the beach for our honeymoon so a perfect foundation for the beach would be great. I dont want to look too dark in April I just want to have a nice color.

So, I printed out all my invitations and response cards. We did a simple Martha Stewart inviation--where all you had to do was print on them. We are one a smaller budget and most people throw away the invitation anyways so there was no point in spending 100's of dollars! I will post a couple pics in a day or so. I do have a guestion---for the envelope that you are mailing everything in are you typing the peoples names and addresses---like off of a typewriter, or the computer or are you handwriting them. Either way is going to take a while to do but I don't know which way is the typical way. I know you handwrite all the THANK YOU CARDS but whats the "rule" so to speak for Invitations??

So, My FH and his family and my family dont drink, pretty much all of my friends dont either. I mean neither wine, champage, beer---anything. So for our toast we were trying to find something we could toast with besides wine and champagne. We were going to do sparkling cider but its like $3 a bottle. We are on a tight budget and especially for just ONE toast we don't see the need to spend that much. We would have needed about 26 bottles. Instead my mom and I were shopping and we saw Cranberry flavored Ginger Ale we decided that the Ginger Ale would work perfect its something other than water :) and its still has the bubbly affect. We also figured one bottle could serve 2 tables so---- we figured we would end up spending no more than $20 on it for over 200 quests. Im really glad we found that? Are any of your ladies doing something other than wine or champagne?

So Ladies! I am super excited. We decided to go down to Orlando Florida for our honeymoon. On Tuesday night we purchased the tickets for the flight, rental car and our Hotel. We are staying at a place called extended stay. Its not a honeymoon suite and its not a all inclusive its a normal hotel room but the reason why we chose it was it has a kitchen and living room. Almost like a mini apartement. We decided we wanted to get a kitchen so we can go to a local walmart and get some food for the week. Especially in tourists sights you can spend a fortune on going out to eat. Don't get me wrong we are going to go out to eat, but this way we can pack a lunch when we go to SeaWorld or something.

Last night we were looking at prices for tickets of different activities we want to do. We know we want to go to Seaworld, and a fun museum called Wonderworks, and most likely Cirq De Solei ( sorry if I spelled it wrong)

This wasnt our first pick for our honeymoon we were looking at jamaicas Sandals and Hawaii, but we are interested in a house right now and have our ties with the guy and we would really like to put as much money as we can to the house!

Anyways, Just thought I would let you know we booked it. I have been waiting impatiently to get started and now its finished :)

Okay Ladies. I ordered my FH wedding band back on December 22nd. They told me the day I ordered it that it would take a week and a half. I called them two days ago saying that it has almost been a month and I didn't hear anything. The lady took my name and number and told me she would call me back in a day. I get home from work yesterday and there was a message on the answering machine---says that the ring is being processed. I then get another call today when I got home and now they told me the ring is on backorder until MARCH! They don't know when in March. It could be the first week or the last week in March. IM SO ANNOYED BECAUSE NOONE CALLED ME. I HAD TO CALL THEM FIRST!! So anyways, Im geting a little annoyed. Right now we are going to wait it out, but if it gets closer to March and the ring isnt here we might have to order a differnent one. UGH!

So, I definetly want to do some sort of a oot basket or boxes. We have maybe 20 people that are coming from out of town. Im trying to think of some goodies that can go in the baskets/boxes. What I really need help with is.... My wedding is APRIL 11th its the day before Easter this year. I was going to try to incorporate some easter type theme into the baskets but I dont want it to look like its a Kids Basket that you would get because of the "Easter Bunny"? :)

Maybe just in the welcome card I should mention something about thanking them for spending their Easter holiday with us... or something..??

candy or I was thinking of making cookies?

ANY Suggestions?? I need to keep it simple as well. I dont want this to be a big expense. The guests will only be up for one night.

When I get married I will be 3 months away from being 20. He is 25 and will be turning 26 about 5 months after we get married. 90% of my family and friends think its great and are all for us! There is still that 10% that just get under my skin when they say crap about not being ready for marriage? Have any of you ever read anything that said WHEN YOU ARE READY TO GET MARRIED? Didnt think so :)

Anyways just out of curiousity I wanted to know how old everyone is going to be when they get married??? I personally think and the people that matter the most to me know that age doesnt matter. People are ready for different stages in life at different times. I know I am ready to get married. I love him more than anything! I am so excited to be getting married in 3 months! I cant believe it!

To all of you out there that are "too young to get married" in peoples eyes---I say Stand tall and be proud that you were blessed young in life to find that special someone! :) I KNOW I AM BLESSED TO BE MARRYING HIM!

So we finally decided exactly what we want at the reception. One of my Moms good friends is going to be cooking all the food for us. We are doing an Italian Buffet!

The food is going to be delicious!!

So a couple of days ago our engagement picture was in the Newspaper it was supposed to be in it awhile ago and then nothing happened so I emailed them again. Better late than never and its free!

So, My FH and I are on a pretty tight budget now that the main things have been bought. We both decided that we would like the wedding to be videotaped. I think being able to watch our wedding will be something we will both appreciate in years to come---especially when we can look back and see how much everyone has changed. We decided to ask a Friend to Video tape it for us. He likes taking pictures and to videotape and does it all the time and puts stuff on DVD's.

Im trying to think of some questions he can ask. My plan is I want him to not only tape the wedding and a little bit of the reception but I want him to tape us getting ready. He can go in the guys room and ask Bryan ( my FH) how he is feeling if he is nervous, then he can come into my room and ask the same questions. I think since we change in different rooms we will miss the excitement or nervousness :) That each of us went through and it will be nice to see what happened on the other side.

Are any of you ladies doing anything similar do you have any suggestions of how to make this wedding video a little more unique than just the ceremony part of it.???

So tonight we had our First Marriage Counseling session with the Pastor of our Church--he will be the officiant for our Wedding. We had a really good time. We will be meeting with him at least two more times and with a couple other Older Christian couples in the Church. Im really looking forward to these upcoming sessions. I think its a great foundation to build on as we are getting married in 3 months. We have only done the first one and I already can tell this is going to be good for us we will be discussing different issues such as:


* What Gods word has to say about the roles of HUSBAND AND WIFE
* What God's word has to say about COMMUNICATION
* What God's word has to say about PARENTING
* What God's word has to say about FINANCIAL ISSUES
* What God's word has to say about SEXUAL INTIMACY

How many of your ladies have had Marriage sessions or will be taking them.?? and how many of you are enjoying them and learning alot?

Oh my goodness Registry was so much fun but let me tell you at some points it was down right frustrating at the same time :) My fiance and I decided to register at JcPennys and Walmart ( we figured Walmart and Target have alot of the same stuff, just Walmart is cheaper) Well we went the day after New Years which was fine. We did JcPennys first and it went smoothy. I only have about 2 months left for my bridal shower so I was really wanting to get this done. Well we then go to Walmart which is were we registered for the majority of the stuff we want. Well the Walmart we went to supposively only had ONE gun and It was broken. I was upset. I really just wanted to get it done and over with. He coaches basektball so we dont have alot of free days where he isnt either practicing or has a game...at least not until the end of February and my Shower is in March. Anyways we decide to walk around walmart and at least write down what we want so that the next day I can go to the other walmart---which was 1/2 an hour the other way from this one. So the next day I go registry shopping at the other Walmart--he had a game so i asked if one of my best friends wanted to go and she did. We get there and the machine froze. So there we sat for another 1/2 an hour waiting for it to come back on. Sure enough it did and I got it all done :) After those few mishaps everything went great. I found everything that we had written down the night before. I am definetly really excited to get it all done! Any of you ladies register yet, have any of you experienced some frustrating times while trying to get it done??

When you send the invitations out--is it a good idea to write a little note like "Remember to keep your receipts" I know most people know that, but I cant tell you how many times I have seen at a bridal shower there being no receipts and then its a hassle taking the double items back???

I cant' believe that it's Christmas Eve already tomorrow and then Christmas!! We have 12 months to plan for it but it always seems to come faster and faster :) Its been a little overwhelming but just really sitting down and thinking about it. This is a great time to just relax and enjoy time with our Family and Friends and reflect on what Christmas is really about. I am also trying to soak it all in because this will be my last Christmas home ( because Bryan and I don't live together) I am really excited about next year even though its a years away!!

I just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and enjoy it!! For many of us this will be our last Christmas with our boyfriends next year we will be with our Husbands :)

Hey Ladies
Well as of right now we haven't planned one thing about our honeymoon. The reason--we are waiting until the first week in January to hear back from a guy ( Friend of my Grandpas ) that could possibly have a condo for the week for us at a really cheap price. Which will save lots of money since there is a walmart near by and we can make some meals during the week so we aren't constantly buying out.

Since we are waiting to hear from him we havent planned much else. We have a couple ideas of things we would like to do and stuff but other than that we are just waiting until after the new year. We know we are definetly going to Seaworld --he doesn't like rides--- and that place doesn't have many and the last time we were there was when we were both kids. My guestion for you FLorida honeymoon ladies or anyone who has ever been to Florida. What would you recommend we do for our honeymoon? It has been YEARS since I have been there and I want to have some fun and romantic stuff to do?!!

Hey ladies!
I know you are all just as busy as I am, but how many of you feel a litle overwhelmed with all the gifts you would like to buy for people and saving up for a wedding and getting married???
I LOVE CHRISTMAS,and I am excited for it but this year Bryan and I agreed we wouldn't really buy each other much this year---along with my family. I feel so bad. I am the type of person that loves to give things to people. I walk in a store and see something that makes me think of somebody else and i buy it for them. Im not to the point where I get myself in trouble. Its just little things here and there mostly for my honey and my family. Even one of my friends said I have a gift for you and this year I just couldn't afford to get all my friends gifts. Im sure you ladies know how that is... they give you something and you know they dont expect anything in return but you still feel sad--or a little embarressed. I know everyone knows that we arent in a financial situation to be buying everyone gifts but for me giving is the best part of Christmas.

I still love Christmas!! and I know next year will hopefully be different.

Oh my goodness its been crazy around here. I was able to put a quick post the other day up, but I started a new job... and (before at my old job it was quite slow so I could check my email a couple times a day and come on this website----but the people treated me awful) I LOVE MY NEW JOB---but I now have no time to check this website :( What have all of you ladies been up too!?! Hopefully things will start slowing down and I can be on here more and more.

So, I posted about registering a while ago. We decided and got set up online with KOHLS and TARGET. We put a couple things on them, online... but in January which is less than a month away we are going to the stores and getting it all done then. He is a teacher and a basketball coach so its hard to find days that he doesnt have practice or games either.

What are you ladies registering for? Like I know---pillows, coffee pots, stuff like that.... but I was wondering if any of you were registering for stuff that wasn't all that well known. Maybe stuff that a normal bride and groom would need but forget to register for??
I have a good idea of what I want, but I thought it would help to see what you other brides are registering for as well!!

Im having a little problem..... LITTLE. Im trying to find hot pink candles for my center pieces they need to be PILLAR CANDLES about 2 x 3 or a little taller. I don't want to spend too much on them, since there isn't much you can do with them afterwards! I went to the Dollar Tree and found pink ones, but they aren't the shade of pink that I want. I'm not picky, but this was way off! If I can't find a cheap pink candle I'm going to end up having to go with white candles which is okay. I do need your help ladies.

Do any of you know where I can find cheap wholesale either pink or white candles?? I mean I OBVIOUSLY need them cheap since I would have bought them at the dollar tree :) They just need to stay lit for a couple hours and thats it.

Any websites you might be able to think of just let me know! Thank you in advance! :)

This is something I have been working on for a while and it actually is kind of time consuming but I think after the wedding I will be so happy that I did this.

I bought packs of paper --green & pink--- my colors. I typed three different sentences in word

I had some monograms that I made. I put them into word and made them smaller then cut them all out... punched holes through the three sheets of paper and put a bow on them.

Like I said before...It is definetly time consuming, but I think after the wedding Bryan and I are really going to enjoy reminising in old memories, getting advice from those who have been married for a while or even those who haven't been married, and then maybe have some laughs about the Future Predictions. Im not sure if we are going to take them with us on our honeymoon or just wait until we get home to read them all.

So I have about 4 months and 1 week to go. Im starting to really feel the pressure of my wedding coming soon. I feel like I have gotten alot done, but I also feel like I keep checking things off my list but my list isn't getting any smaller.

Only a few of the things I need to get done!

* Invitations
* Programs
* Buy Candy for the favors
* GIfts for mine and his parents
* Gifts for groomsmen and ring bearer -- the girls side is done :)
* Making the food menu---we won't be buying food until about a month before--we are doing a pasta buffet--and a good friend of the family is a great cook so she is helping.
* I need to figure out what songs I wanted sung or played
* One of the bridesmaids dresses didn't fit so Im waiting to find out what to do
* I still need to buy his wedding band
* We haven't even started planning the honeymoon. We know we want to go to Florida for Disney and Seaworld and stuff -- but thats it
* Marriage Counseling starts in a month
* Im starting a new job on Monday--which im nervous about--excited, but nervous
* My car isn't working right so Im hoping its not a big money bill :(

A bunch more stuff but I didn't feel like typing them and Im sure you didn't feel like reading them!

How are the rest of you ladies dealing with all these things that just seem to pile up??? I know I have 4 months.. but I have been engaged for 5 and I can't believe how FAST those 5 months have come and gone!

Hey Ladies!!! Back from Thanksgiving! I hope you all had a great time with your families!

Well, on black friday Bryan and I decided to go shopping ( we didn't go until like 11:00 am... so it wasn't too bad) but while we were at the mall he bought my ring! I am really happy. I love the ring. I was going to buy his ring but he is trying to decide between a zirconium ring or a titanium ring. I guess the zirconium ring was a newer piece because the jeweler had to look it up. I guess it's in the same family as titanium. At first I was not sure if it was related to CUBIC zirconium, but the lady assured me that it wasn't. What are you ladies getting your fiance? What type of metal??

I Just found out that one of my old highschool teachers who was also our assistant Pastor at our church and a very close friend of the family passed away this morning at 1:30. He has been struggling with Cancer for a long time and finally has gone to spend eternity with his Saviour. This is a very sad time, but we are all rejoicing as well. He has been suffering for quite sometime. Please pray for me and everyone else who has been touched by his life. His oldest son is actually one of my best friends. His viewing is on Friday and the funeral is on Saturday... again... Please pray for all of us! He is leaving behind an amazing woman( his wife of 21 years) an 18 year old son, a 14 year old daughter and a 5 year old son

If you want to read something that could change you life you need to read his blog!! He and his family are one of the strongest Christian families I have ever met. Please take a minute to read his blog. Even go back a couple of blogs.. it will touch your heart!! Especially his wifes perspective.. I think as we all get married soon we need to strive to be more and more like Merrily ( his wife) she is truley an example of someone who is there for her husband through better or worse. I will miss him dearly but I will see him again.

Just something funny I had to tell you ladies. My FH was reading one of my other posts and saw NWR and DIY and he said what do those mean? So I told him it was NOT WEDDING RELATED and DO IT YOURSELF..and he was like do those other ladies know what you mean?? He was looking at me like it was my own blonde language. HEHE. LOL I started laughing and said NO! They know what I mean :) I thought it was funny

I am so excited Ladies. I have been working as a secretary for a small garbage company for the past 10 months and it has been nothing but hell on earth with them. I have had payroll checks bounced, accused of never showing up to work--when I was most definetly there. As if planning a wedding isnt stressful enough, I had to deal with them.

Anyways, I had an interview last night, and I got hired...as an adminstrative assitant. The lady I will be working for actually is a friend of the family and goes to my church. She is an accountant. I know this job will be stressful at times but I am up for the challenge and I at least know I will be treated with respect. Oh my gosh ladies. I have been looking for a new job for months now.... I know some of you ladies are looking for new jobs too, let me tell you dont give up!! It will get better!! I just had to share this with you because.. my weekend is just getting better and better.

So right after work today.. Bryan and I and my parents are heading down to Lancaster for the weekend. I love lancaster. All the homemade items and such. There is an amazing Flower & Craft Warehouse down there.. its huge.. It has a huge room full of just flowers---a room full of candles--- a room full of christmas suppplies-- jewelry-- a scrapbooking room! Im planning on getting alot of stuff for my diy wedding projects. I'm even getting some stuff to decorate my house... after we get married. IM SUPER EXCITED!!! WISH ME LUCK! HOPEFULLY I WILL BRING HOME ALOT OF GOODIES! I will post the stuff I get. Ill look forward to coming back and seeing all your posts on Monday. I know Im only going to be gone for a weekend... but I check all your posts every day... a couple times a day. I'm definetly addicted!

So I decided to go back to my blonde hair color. I tried to dye it back today, and the dye did almost nothing!!! All it did was lighten it up a little bit...now it looks like a dark medium blonde instead of a light brown. Im not sure what went wrong.. maybe I just dyed it too close to when I dyed it the first time. Im going to give it a couple of weeks and then I am just going to dye it again...I really hope I can get it back to the right shade of blonde that I want it at. I like the darker color, but Its just not me. I want to be able to look back at my wedding pictures and look how I have always known myself to look. I don't know why I even changd it in the first place---Im sure you girls understand :)-- THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INPUT IT REALLY HELPED ME DECIDE TO GO BACK!! YOU LADIES ARE THE BEST!!

These are my unity candles--obviously :) I bought the pillar candle and the two taper candles at AcMoore Craft store. I think the tapers were $1 and the pillar was maybe $3. Super cheap. The two different kinds of ribbon are left over from another diy project--that I will be posting soon--. The heart charm is actually for a necklace that I bought, I just decided to use the necklace pendant for the candle--I will just take it off the candle after the wedding and use it for a necklace--
