Wedding Cake
I finally found one!
I am so sick of looking at cake photos!!!!!! I finally found a cake that is perfect! The only think different will be that the flower with start with darker pinks in the center and gradually go to lighter pinks. I love it! The layers will alternate w/ carrot cake and cream cheese filling and chocolate cake w/ raspberry & chocolate ganache filling. Yummy!!!

DIY Wedding
We finished the project!!!
So awhile back I posted about a bride's escort cards (photo 1) that I just had to do for our wedding. I searched everywhere on how to do this. I asked friends that were art teachers, I even tried calling the brides wedding coordinator and photographer to get other pictures or infomation on how the heck she did this. lol. I'm really not crazy I swear!
Finally I wrote a post on theknow.com (where I found the her picture of her project) and another bride messaged me back right away giving me the bride's wedding website with every detail on how she completed her project!!!! I was so excited! So I got my BM, Jess to help me. She's an accountant so she's great with #'s and calculating. There was no way I was going to be able to determine the dimensions I would need to do this. Once we found out how many guests cards I would need and the dimensions we emailed my photographer for a picture of our resort and had her add some text. She got it printed for me and I had the 2 prints within 2 days. We then drew lines on the back of the prints so Staples would know where to make their cuts. Then we bought 2 black 3/16 thick foam board and measured one with lines as well. Off to Staples we went. 2 hours later we were home with all our pieces. I won't bore you with all the little details. You can check out the brides website if you'd like to attempt this project. The hardest and longes part was figuring out the dimensions. It was totally worth it!!!! On my bachelorette weekend in Myrtle Beach we had some time to kill before our flight so of course we went shopping! We found this little cute boutique and my MOH found these cute earrings for all the BM's to wear on the day of the weding. They are all rhinestones and sparkle a lot. Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks to my wonderful MOH!

Honeymoon
Maui & Kauai Accomodations....
So our flights are booked, our timeshare request is filled in Maui at the Marriot, but we still need some hotel accomodations for an additional 4 nights in Maui & 8 nights in Kauai. Anyone have any suggestions?
Maui-I've looked at the Four Seasons. Kauai-I've looked at the Marriot & St Regis. Anyone been to any of these or know someone who has? |

Anyone have any suggestions on what I should get our 7 year old ring bearer? I got our 5 year old flower girl a personalized piggy bank, but thought that might be too young for him. He's such a boy and loves the outside, bikes, motorcycles, trucks, getting dirty. I can spend around $40. Any suggestions?

Bachelorette Weekend!!
Heading to Myrtle Beach tomorrow....
for my bachelorette weekend! I'm so excited! Through our timeshare I was able to get a 4 bedroom condo on the beach for cheap money. These 8 of my closest girlfriends going. 6 Flying down from Boston and 2 from New York City.
I found this cute outfit at Francesca's. It's so comfortable. Thinking of wearing it out Saturday. What do you lady's think? |

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
My earrings are in and they are perfect!!!!
I ordered these from http://www.annabellagio.com/ and was a little worried they were not going to match everything. My belt and hair piece are kind of antiquey looking so bright silver jewelry doesn't look right. I found these and thought what the heck, I'll order them and see what they look like in person. Well, they look way better in person than online. They were a little pricey, but so worth it. If anyone is looking for gorgeous jewerly for their wedding I highly recommend this company!

Wedding Hair Style
Finally my hair trial is done!
And it only took one try! My friend Erin is the bomb. We met at an Aveda spa down the Cape about 6 yrs ago. I was doing Massage Therapy and she was a stylist. It was instant friendship. When I told her I was getting married she right away said she was doing my hair. I was so excited. She is a genious when it comes to updo's and I knew she could create my dream wedding day hair style.
First we looked through all the photos I had of styles I liked and we came up with that I wanted something romantic and soft. Then we needed to find a hair piece that matched my belt. So back to Vows in Watertown we went. That's wear I bought my belt. And wouldn't you know they had an exact piece that matches my belt and is usually used to attach to a sash but we are attaching it to a comb. Or should I say her mom is. Gotta love Momma H. Finally it was back to my house to start on my hair and this is the results! Sorry, there's no frontal pics because we are still deciding if I like a side swoop of my bangs or all back. We got these results the first time! Isn't she amazing!? Anyone have a great experience their first time getting their hair trial done? |

Found their shoes....Finally!!!
I have been dreading finding my girls their shoes. I wanted to get them the same ones I got and dye them, but they were really exspensive and didn't want to put that on them. Then I was trying to find shoes in the color pink that I want, but that was a flop. So I broke down and settle for dyables. But I ended up finding ones that look really similar to mine........ so, yippy! Can't wait to see how they look in pink.
