Wedding Reception
Escort Cards

I found this on theknot.com. I am so doing this as my next DIY project. I will use an old picture of our resort as the photo.

The first thing guests saw when they arrived at the venue was this. She cut a poster of the 1930s Chicago skyline into rectangles and added guestsÂ’ names in small print beneath each section. She mounted an identical poster beneath it so that the image would remain visible when guests took their cards. They framed the intact poster after the wedding to hang in their house.

I love this idea. So creative. Now how am I going to pull this off.

I love this idea. I totlaly forgot about that. That's great and pretty easy to do. If you have a Costco near you you can blow up the picture pretty easily and then cut it at a print shop like Kinko's. I might do thet same because our theme is ferris wheels and man is it difficult to find a model anywhere. Good luck.

i love this! it's an awesome idea, & a great double duty. definitely do this :) i think you'll get a lot of people impressed wth this - you can get a large photo of your resort printed out on thick posterboard at either kinkos or off of like vistaprint.
