Flowergirls and Updates!
What a busy week...
Well, my week has been busy, but mostly with planning for our upcoming trip to Chicago and Michigan (to visit friends, and for me to meet Matt's Dad for the very first time...in almost 6 years!). I also found out this week that one of my classmates and a good friend just got engaged and she asked me to be in the wedding! So after my wedding I get to be a bridesmaid for the first time ever! Haha, I guess that's kind of backwards huh?
So, I haven't had a lot of time to post. But I'm back and I've got flower girls on my mind :o) So...here's what I'm thinking. I think I'm going to have two flower girls...I love the idea of more than one, and if I had my way I'd have 5! But my thought is to put them in wings, and pretty long dresses. We would give them a band of flowers for their hair and rather than throw petals they would carry "magic" flower wands. Either that or they would carry little bouquets. What do you ladies think of flower girls in wings? I think they would be fairy wings rather than angels wings. We can't throw petals at the venue without having to pay an extra fee (for clean-up) so I figured that the wands would solve that in a cute way that would tie in with my theme. Anyway, here are a few ideas with the wings, and a few dresses that I LOVE. Lemme know what you all think! |
