Ask a Question
Anyone eaten a Hibiscus Flower?!
Okay, I know that is a strange question, but here's what I'm thinking: I've found Wild Hibiscus Flowers soaked in Syrup that you can put into Champagne that will appear to "Bloom" in the drink, and turn the liquid PINK! Awesome.

Here's the question though...anyone actually eaten one of these flowers?!

I've had Hibiscus flavored stuff...and it's sweet, but the flower itself? I dunno...what do you all think? Is it a cool idea? I think people will remember it because it's so unique.

If you're interested, you can find the flowers on Amazon.com for $11 for 11 flowers. But I have a feeling that I've seen them at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, I just can't remember. I have to look again.

Anyway, I'd love to hear what you ladies think! Here are some pictures I've found also!

I've never actually eaten one. I've only had a drink made out of them (Jamaica). I have some now, I should try it and see how it is to eat them. I like the idea. I've seen it before and am considering doing the same thing since I figured it would go with our theme.
