Favors
For one of my favors I'm doing a box filled with mints. I was going to get the damask little fold over boxes, but I liked the black ones so much better. They come with a black ribbon, but I have a lot of pink ribbon, so I decided to incorporate it. What do you think?
BTW...50 of these boxes come in a package, and they retail for $24.99. Of course I got them at Michaels and I used a 50% off coupon, so they only cost $13! What a deal... |

Menu...I can't decide?
So I have so many options for my menu, but I just can't decide! I've decided on chicken, pork, and fish as the main dishes, but I just haven't decided which meal within each category. Help...what would you rather eat?

Another Centerpiece??
I got these candlesticks at Walmart. They were only $7 for all three on clearance! Since I'm going for the old Hollywood theme, I think they would be neat with either jewels attached over the edge, or putting flowers down around the bottom. I want to do hot pink candles and put all three of them in a jeweled charge plate over my damask runner. What do you think?

Centerpieces??
I'm planning on having three different types of centerpieces. Here's one I constructed last night. I used six different vases, and numerous sizes of jewels on the inside. This is the one I decided on, but I can't decide if I should leave it plain, or put the rocks in the bottom with a hot pink light underneath. Ignore the damask paper, I'm planning on having runners, but I just used this as an example for now. What do you guys think? I plan to fill the flowers more; this was just a rough idea.
They were really cheap to make too! Vase - $3 - Walmart Flowers - $1 bundle of 6 or so - Walmart Foam Ball - $2 - Walmart Jewels - 2 for $5 - on sale this week at Michaels |

Venue
We are having our reception at the iWireless Center. It's a large concert venue, and they have a room for weddings. It's beautiful! It has high ceilings and it will accommodate all of our guests (500 on the invite list so far!). It's right on the Mississippi River, and has several balconies to go outside and enjoy the view! They will also hold the ceremony right next to the river outside, but I haven't decided yet!

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
I love it!
Matthew and I had shopped for rings, and I had my heart set on a vintage style ring like this one, but in a circle. After I tried on the oval, I had to have it. The center stone is 1CT and there is .5CT around it. I can't wait to get both of my wedding bands, and they are 1CT a piece.

The Proposal
I guess I should mention this!
Matthew and I decided to go to Myrtle Beach, SC for the night. We flew into Fayetteville, NC and then drove down. After an hour of trying to locate our hotel, we finally found it. We stayed at the Hilton Resort and were given a room on the top floor facing the ocean and the beach. The view was absolutely amazing! After we got settled into the room, a hotel employee showed up at the door with a tray containing champaign, fruit, cheese, and chocolate covered strawberries. I had said earlier that I wanted to walk to the nearby pier, so Matthew suggested that we go before it got to dark. I could tell something was up, because Matthew was being very quiet and sounded nervous when speaking. The pier ended up being closed so we sat underneath it for awhile. Then Matthew suggested that we write messages to each other in the sand. I didn't think anything of it, because we write messages to each other in the sand, every time we go to a beach. I wrote Kaylee loves her Matthew and then turned around to see "Will You Marry Me?" written in the sand. Matthew got down on one knee and said some very special things to me. After about 10 minutes of tears and a very beautiful speech, I accepted!

Thank You Cards
I got these at Michaels. They were $1 and they contain 10 thank yous in them. They're not intricate or beautiful by any means, but I they're better than basic. I feel like no one really looks at them anyways, so I'd rather put the money towards something else.

Card Box
I also got this at Michaels. It was originally $29.99, but once again, I used a 50% off coupon and got it for $15. It's not very big, but I like that there's a spot to put our picture in. It's also damask print!

Wedding Invitation
Invitations
I got these at Michaels. They retail for $39.99 for 30 invites. I've used a 50% off coupon (signing up for their email) on each box, so they were only $20! I found a place that will print 300 of them for $100. I'm leaning towards getting envelopes, as they don't come with any. I'm also switching out the black ribbon for fuchsia ones I bought.
