I would really like to surprise my FH on our wedding day by renting his dream car. He is a mechanic and a total classic car buff... His absolute favorite car is a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS...red with black racing stripes. I have no idea where to find this car. I cannot afford to buy it, as it costs at least $30,000 in this condition (not that he would want it finished anyway--he would take pride in doing the restore himself)...but I want to rent one. None of the resources I've used lead me to anything even similar. I've posted ads on Craigslist, I've asked all kinds of people...nothing. Do you girls have any ideas? Or if you live in my area (Hampton Roads, Virginia), would you know of anyone who has a car like this??? I don't have a lot of money to spend, unfortunately...which is making this even harder.
It would mean so much to me to be able to do this for Brad. He is such an awesome guy (which is why I am marrying him LOL). I just can't imagine my life without him, and I want to make our wedding day extra special for him.
Any ideas????
