Gotta love Grandma
Help me choose a date and help me pick an anniversary
Read this and my title will make more sense.
Ok so here is the deal... we are having a fabulous wedding in April in Cabo. With that said... as you might imagine a lot of guests will not be attending. I have gone back and forth between having my wedding local, so one of the most important people in my life can attend,my grandmother. After discussing it with my Mom she urged me to follow my dreams and pick a location I would love.... She feared even if I had it local that my grandmother might not be in good enough shape to attend. Since we are getting married in Cabo it is not a legal marriage in the US. So I really really want to have a civil ceremony at my parents home, so my grandmother can be present. Now that I know that... I am debating if I should do it on my grandmothers birthday Dec 22nd or her and my grandfathers anniversay, feb 6th. But my question is... when would our anniversary be, the day we got married in front of my family at home or the day we marry in Cabo...??? And I know everyone loves there Grandma but I dont think you understand... My grandma is 82 years old and more like me or I should say I am more like her than any other person in the world. 1) we both LOVE our wine.... she cant drink anymore but still bribes me to go sneak a glass 2)She loves pink 3) she loves accessories and purses 4) She loves to have a good time... I'll occassionally ask her what she did last night and she will tell me she was up until 1am at the local casino gambling. 5) there is no one more important to me than her!! |

Are the bridesmaids bouquets suppose to be similar to mine? I have a picture of my bouquet a few pics down... Do you think this picture would be good for the BM's and mine good for me??
And are the flowers in the pic, peonies? Or what are they called? |

These are my bridesmaids dresses, I chose the designer Jim Hjelm. But you know me- we had to alter the top to be a sweetheart and take up the dress about 3 inches, tee length dresses are soooo not cabo!! Lets keep it classy but short :)

Nothing Like I Imagined
This past Saturday my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law went dress shopping and I got my dress!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is nothing like I imagined it would be....
I wanted big and princess like... I got slim, sleek and sexy I wanted ivory..... I got bright white I wanted a long train... I got a short train Go figure... but I absolutley love it!! |

So I love this cake, I bought brooches in down town LA for $10 a piece. I bought the edible diamonds from a website in the UK for about $70. I will give these to the cabo cake diva and she will work her magic.
