donations instead of favors.....
We've decided to do a donation in lieu of favors...we're deciding between either the women's shelter or the children's hospital. and either find some baby bottle candies or chocolate or something to give as a treat and then donate like $2 per person or something - has anyone heard of this or have ideas?

**update** we'll probably end up doing some sort of treat for people with a tag on it saying in lieu of favors....

we are considering doing a donation as well and what I had thought of was buying chocolate looneys and sprinkling them on the table and you can say for every chocolate looney we are giving a donation to whatever charity you want and announce it or put a card on each table. And than give 1 or 2 looneys per person depending on how much money you wanna donate!

and to personalize the looneys you can buy little round stickers and put your name on it or something like that. Just an idea! they have bulk candy cheap at
www.candywarehouse.com. some pretty cool stuff there!

Hey, my fiance and I are giving a donation to Sick Kids Hospital, the place actually prints cards for us to give to the guests.
