Wedding Invitation
We finally got them all done! They are going out Monday. I can't wait. I didn't think we could pull it off doing our own but we did. We orginally saw a design like this but wanted to add our colors and our own touch to it. So after 3 or 4 proto-types we came up with this. Thankfully it wasn't as hard as I thought. And please excuse the quality of pictures. I had taken them over to my mom's to finish and forgot to bring a camera. So these are taken from my cell.
And I had to share our new baby. Meet Spencer K. He is a 7 month old Japanese Chin. He was born to be a show dog but due some problems he is not able to be shown. Since my FH works for Petco he has people come in all the time needing to adopt out animals. The breader came in and knew Sean wanted a smaller dog. Offered him Spencer and he couldn't say no. My cat is not too sure of him yet. But I think with time it will be ok. |

Wedding Gift Registry
Since we have moved in together now we have decided it might be a good idea to start our registry. Sean and I both previously lived at home for various reasons. I had a ton of things in storage (mainly kitchen items) and he had little to none.
So we are off today to get it done. I am like always more excited than he is. But I think if I allow him to put a few things he wants on there then he will probably enjoy it. I will just have to stop him from thinking we need to register for a new TV.... |

Shoes!!!
I had been fighting with myself about what shoes to wear on the big day. Because I wanted to go for comfort I had almost decided on wearing red Chuck Taylor's. But after trying my dress on with my pink ones I decided that it would be a ton and a half to hem.
So this last weekend mom and I went out to try and find some red heals. And thankfully there was SUCCESS!!! I am in love with these shoes! They are totally comfortable and can't wait to see the look on peoples eyes when they see my shoes. FH and his bestman will be wearing red Chuck's. And I am still trying to decide if I allow my junior bridesmades to wear them. I want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the day with us! |

NWR: We have a Home!!!
On Friday FH and I will be signing the lease papers on a duplex. It is rather small but will work for now. But it is 2 bedrooms, one bath, and a big enough living room and kitchen.
His daughter will have her own room that she will be able to decorate as she wishes, as long as that does not go over board on the Hannah Montana things (she is 8 after all). I wanted to make sure she had her own space as she currently does not have that at her mothers house. I am so excited to get to finally go out and do our registry. Once we where approved we started looking and dreaming. I am so thankful as it is one more thing we can cross off our list. Now we just have to move....oh and to hear if he gets the general manager position at the new Petco in town.... |

Bridesmaids
My girls
So since my wedding is all about including my family I have asked my nieces and little sister to be my junior bridesmaids. I love them dearly and would do anything for them. We are also having my 2 year old niece be the flowergirl. Well as much as she will be able to. It is more to dress her up. Sean's daughter will also be included. But she will stand on his side. I am trying to decided if I want her to walk him down or not. I still need to post pics of my other niece who will also be a junior

Wedding Reception
I finally got the pictures of my ceremony and reception site. It isn't much. In fact it has a terrible name Red Rooster Reception Hall, but I fell in love when I went inside. Plus the amazing deal we are getting helped sweeten it. We are going to have access to the hall for 10 hours and it is costing $1000. With that comes room for 250, open catering, all table, chairs and table clothes. Plus the owner and her family are simply wonderful. I couldn't pass that up.
Assuming the weather holds out we will have a short ceremony outside and then go inside for the dinner and reception. If we do have it outside I will walk out from the guest house and down toward the guest. If the weather does not hold there is room enough to have the ceremony inside and I will get to walk down fun spiral stairs. The night before I will be staying in the guest house with my girls and mom. Then FH and I will stay there the night of our wedding. The guest house has 2 bedrooms and a loft that my junior bridesmaids will love to sleep in. Plus staying there the night before will allow us to have easy access to set things up the day of. Recently an division of my agency at work held their yearly meeting there. I tried my hardest to get invited to it just so I could see it again. No luck though. But I was assured by many people that they place is beautiful! |

Wedding Flowers
I ordered some artifical flowers last Friday from www.1888flowermall.com and received them yesterday. I couldn't be happier with them. I have been debating back and forth about if I would use artifical for some of the flowers. With the way these turned I will be using them to make the boutonnieres and the bridesmaid flowers. I ordered one bouquet that was premade. I loved the look of it but wanted to add my lime to this. I also ordered a bundle of yoko ono mums. I quickly added some mums to the red and white and was in love.
My FMIL is great at making these type of arrangements. So I will be taking what I have to her this weekend and letting her know what I want, then sending her off to do her thing.So excited as doing the flowers this way will only end up costing me about $60.00. So happy!!! Please ignore the craptastic pictures, taken from my cell. |

Nervous (NWR)
About 10 minutes ago I finished an interview for a job. It is for the same agency I work for now, and even in the same department. It would be a huge pay increase. Which would help us out in the long run.
The part that had me very nervous is that my boss was on the main interview person on the interview team. So not only did I have to sell myself I had to resell myself to my boss. I guess the biggest plus is that I have been doing the job for the last 2 months. But it was still terribly nerve racking that I had to do it. He said that he will have the decision made within the next couple of days. So wish me luck. But in the mean time I will be drowning myself in wedding to keep myself from freaking out too much. |

DIY Wedding
Card Box
Orginally I hadn't planned on making my own card box. But I couldn't resist the urge once I saw all the cute ones made on WBC.
Here are some pics of the progress. I have since added a high gloss to it, but have yet to take pics of that, it just seemed a little dull without it. Please excuse the nasty looking pic of me as I am trying to hold the ribbon on (it had been a long day). I am still not sure if I will add the ribbon it it or not. I love it without and I love it with. So either way I will be happy. FH thinks it needs the ribbon to be complete though. Over all I am very happy with how it turned out. |

so excited!!
So I just got an email from my stepmom(well the one I claim). My little brother called her this weekend to let her know that he has put in for vacation around the time of the wedding. He has been in Germany the last 9 months and left for Iraq last week. He is not sure if he will be able to get it, but just the chance that he may has made my day. I had planned on having something at the wedding to honor what he is doing (I love what he is doing, but hate that it is him doing it). I still will plan on doing something in case he can't come. But I will keep everything I can crossed that he will be able to.
