Wedding Hair Style
Classic Updo
I am so in love with Old hollywood, and have always wanted a birdcage veil... it's just so elegant, classic, and screams Timeless LOL!
My bestfriend, Crystal Maid of Honor #1, is a hat designer so she is making my veil... Inspired by Jessica Alba in Fantastic Four - Silver Surfer, I saw it, had to have it, and my BFF is making sure I get it... LOL! LOVE YOU CRYSTAL!! Also is a picture of the hairstyle I will be rocking for the day!!! Thanks Tyra! www.birdcageveils.com |

Thank God for My Mother!
My mother is the most creative woman I know. Unfortunately she lives 12 hours away from me, so planning without her is super difficult.
In light of the Inaguration celebration and festivities, my mom and dad both came to town and are staying with me.... so we have to cram alot of planning in and get things finalized. I am such an indecisive bride-to-be, and choosing a centerpiece seems to be difficult for me. I didn't want the normal candelabra's or the long glass vase with a ball of flowers on top, so my mom helped me look around and we finally found something that will work with my style and taste. We are pulling some inspiration from this picture, but will change it up just a little. Instead of baby's breast inside, we will use chocolate and ivory roses with a submersible tealight at the bottom. We are taking out the floating tealight at the top and adding a couple of overflowing vines for a more brilliant appearance. All the candles on the mirrors will be battery charge so the table glows. And all of the miniature centerpieces will be a mixture of Ivory and chocolate roses, similar to the bridesmaid bouquet.... Love it! |

Wedding Reception
It's A Family Affair
I had it all planned out! The perfect season, the perfect dress, the perfect location, and now the perfect man..... but trying to find the perfect day, well I just gave up.
Every saturday and sunday in the month of September was booked at my perfect venue, and it was either share my day, or choose another month. Bummer :( And all brides know that once you pick a month, you think about weather, holidays surrounding that month, and how much time you have to plan... So changing my date and month was out of the question for me. To make sure my day is truly my day, with no double bookings, and no time restraints, I called up my great Uncle who has a huge ranch with a georgous marble finshed patio and a garden pathway, and ask to hold the event there! We've had family events there before, and they were awesome... so it's no question that this event will be full of love, happiness, and just a great night with family! The ceremony will be held on the open land, cocktail hour on the marble patio, and the reception will be under a rented tent with ceiling liner... which by the way look georgous with dramatic lighting! I'll post pictures of my Uncle 's ranch later! |

Favors
I pulled my colors together from these favors... I knew I wanted chocolate and champagne, but when I saw the chocolate mixed with the gold I fell in love!!

Bridesmaids
My Fair Maidens
I love this dress! It's Classy, Sexy, and simple. Now I'm a firm believer in all eyes on the bride, but I can't have the most special women in my life standing next to me looking like a Taffeta mess!
This dress works also for some of my bustier ladies, who must wear a support bra... I was having such a hard time finding a dress that could support, look hot, and work for everyone! Can't wait to see all my girls together! |
