i know i still have 516 days untill my wedding, but i couldn't wait to buy stuff and besides that i rather get things now when i have the money and i don't want to wait and buy everything at once! This way i'll have less to worry about later. I got my 3 bridesmaids 2 of the gifts i am going to get them, i will get their necklace and flip flops later.I bought the 2 flower girl baskets the ribbons on the side of the baskets will say on one side "flower girl 2009" and the other side it will have their first and middle name. I also ordered the ring box i figured this would be better then a pillow for my 5 year old great nephew to carry plus it's different. I also ordered my garter and a few favors. yay! i'm so excited i started doing things! CHECK!! Thats a few things off my list!

I'm with you on buying things as you have the money! I've only bought one of my bridesmaids gifts but I am jumping in on papers for the invitations and reception decor as soon as the place is picked. It's so exciting!

Yes....this makes the process so much easier.  Do things as your able & get it checked off.  That definitely works for me too!

Ha, have you seen my page?! Buy it now and save the stress for other things. I highly recommend that! I really love the shoe idea, all women love shoes!

I love the little ring bearer box, if I had a ring bearer, I'd do that instead of a pillow!!

It's never too early to buy things!! Our wedding is May30th 2009 and we started planning early.
I am glad we are because i don't want to be stressed out about it later.
We have already bought our wedding rings, found a photographer, offician, booked the reception hall, booked the DJ, found a cake design. He found a tux he wants & I put my wedding dress on layway. I have also started buying reception decor.

All we have left to book is the caterer & the florist...
So we are doing great so far on budget..
