My garter looks like first one except add the feathers in the second picture. The toasting flutes are the one we ordered..The black ones are the ones I wanted but my FH couldn't reason the $165 price difference |

my guest list is solid Booked the ceremony and reception site Got the dress. Confirmed my wedding party Already booked a hairstylist/makeup artist Booked photographer Picked out Invitations, RSVPs, Thank-you cards, Bridal shower invites I emailed my preferred caterer, florist, and baker today Going on another shopping excursion for bridesmaid/flower girl dresses and bridal accessories saturday I feel like this is clipping right along smoothly. How about the rest of you ladies :) |

 on a little miniature jack my fiancee has in its box this just looked neat! Its on a wax rose. Its a real rose thats been dipped in colored wax and glitter. It smells soo good! his grandmother painted this little mini tea set           |

Wedding Reception
Got my ceremony/reception Site reserved today.
Well by sheer luck my aunt and uncle own a vineyard 5 hours south of here. Its a gorgeous area and on the Shawnee Wine trail about a 45 minute drive from SIUC and surrounded by Shawnee National Forest. Lucky for me they are big enough to accommodate our wedding size and due to the the college there are alot of hotels close for guests. Biggest bonus I'll be able to stay on-site. There is a huge 5 bedroom farmhouse on site thats all updated and remodeled so The whole wedding party will be staying there. Im so happy and excited!!!

Wedding Dress
GOT MY DRESS!!!!
Went shopping in Ottawa on saturday tried on like 10 dresses an found the one :) Its no longer being produced so I got to take it home that day. By some miracle of god the dress is in perfect condition and my size. Just needs hemmed and taken in at the chest. heres some pictures of it.

Wedding Dress
Dress Shopping Tomorrow...again.
I've ad a real problem wedding dress shopping, I've tried on 45 dresses (maybe more) a couple of which i loved but it still just wasn't there. on top of that I had been shopping with my moh, mother-in-law, my fiancees two sisters, my mother, step mom and grandmother. Needless to say not one of my better ideas. I've even went once on my own. Still no ones opinion matters like my fiancee. I know its MY dress but he has to look at those pictures forever too. Plus he has a very definite opinion on clothes. If anyone will give it to me straight he will. So to his mother and sisters upset hes going with tomorrow. At-least now we actually have a style picked out. I had thought i wanted a fitted dress but we both a agree a ball-gown it is. so wish me lots and lots of luck!!

Engagement Pictures!
I thought we never would get then done!! Due to wonderful IL weather we had to reschedule once then we had to reschedule again because she lost all her battery packs! Then once we had them taken her computer broke. So finally! Our photographer ( Pam Cooley) and her assistant are wonderful. She's really quirky and fun. We love the way the pictures turned out and are glad she's doing our special day! This is less then half of the picture we actually have.

A low key intimate tea/garden party. Our colors are ( and here's where it gets crazy) black with Kelly green, Daffodil yellow, Cobalt blue, Apple red, royal purple accessories. One color per bridesmaid/groomsmen. I know it sounds crazy but I promise it looks great. We having a small wedding 30 to 50 guests ( we still battling over the guest list) My future husband is a absolute sweetheart and is super involved with planning and is just hoping we can get the through the next year without me going manic because I'm a huge organization/control freak.
