I LOVE ORCHIDS!! So it is only fitting that I have them as my flower choice!! I found this idea on brides.com and just fell in love with it. I already know where I am getting the flowers from, and I just found the pebbles for the inside of the vases!! Now if I could just find the vase!!

I got the pepples ( or as the pros may call it, vase gems) on save-on-crafts.com!!!

My Bridesmaids are the best!! Not one of them complained when I showed them the dress I liked. I want them to feel comfortable in the dress they wear, but I really wanted to pick it. Is that wrong of me?? None of them complained. God I hope I don't turn into one of those Bridezillas.
Anyways, they all agreed, and they are all going to have them ordered by next week! The dress is a David's Bridal.... The Color is Azalea.

So I really wanted either The Coral Bay Club, or The Dunes Club both of which are on Atlantic Beach, NC. However, they are completely booked the entire month of May. So, my sister's co-worker just recently got married at this place on Emerald Isle called the Dolphin Ridge Club. She showed me some pictures and I went on ahead and called for more information. The next day, Josh and I went to see it. We put the deposit down, went home, and I called the church my family goes to. So, my preacher can and will officiate the wedding ceremony which will be held right on the beach just a few feet ( Well, more than a few!!) away from the ocean!! The cocktail hour will be held by the pool at the club, and the reception itself will be held in the garden of the club. I am so excited!!

The next thing I felt I had to get done quickly was book the photographer.
Now if only I could just decide on the flowers!!

Josh and I flew out to Vegas on Tuesday, December 30th. We were staying there until Monday, January 5th. I really had no idea he was even thinking marriage at all let alone popping the question!!

So we were standing out in front of The Stratosphere Hotel, and out of nowhere he just got on one knee. he was so nervous... he admitted later that the location was not what he was going for, but that he had just gotten so nervous . I thought it was so sweet! And I LOVE MY RING!!!
