DIY Wedding
Boutonnieres

So my DIY posts should be more frequent now, seeing as I am cutting it really freaking close, should not have procrastinated. But any-who, these are the guys boutonnieres. I bought the old skeleton keys many months ago and thought I would just wrap them in ribbon around the center and that would be that, but then I liked the idea of the wildflower look, its cute but still kinda manly and totally fits the rustic theme. The scrabble piece was a very last minute addition that I thought was adorable, and a easy way to personalize them with the guys initials. It wasn't too expensive, all the skeleton keys were around $20 (I have extras, I bought multiple lots and picked the ones I liked the best to use for these, the rest I will use elsewhere) All the bunches of dried wildflower/pods/fuzzy things were $15 total and I have a ton left to use in bouquets, and the scrabble pieces came from a scrabble game I got for $1.50 at a thrift store. It was so easy to put them together and took maybe an hour tops and that was while I was doing laundry also. I love them, they turned out better than I thought they would considering I have never done any sort of floral arranging of any kind.
