The Shower
Please oh please
There's nothing worse than having to register for gifts...except maybe having to buy one and sit at a party for 3 hours on a gorgeous Saturday while someone opens them...let's not have a shower but go out to brunch instead!

I hear you with the shower.  I opted not to have a shower but we did go to Vegas for my Bachelorette Party....I had way more fun!!!

I just had to go to a baby shower and watch the woman open every gift she got. My fiance and I were the only ones in the place who paid attention, she is Blake's sister. Everyone else couldn't care less. I wish there was a better way to do it, like opening gifts in private.

Blake and I argued so much while registering... our tastes are very different. But we registered for some great stuff and I am very excited about it!!

I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and the next day they had the opening of the gifts.... I thought "how in the world can I sit through that" but I was the one writing gifts in the book and counting all the money so it wasn't that bad.
