This is catstevens21's Purple Wedding!

After just over 5 month my dress finally arrived and I got to try it on for the very first time. I absolutely LOVE it... I couldn't be happier. The picture isnt great but gives an idea of the look of the dress. :)

Well after a little family drama I unfortunately decided to replace one of my bridesmaids. It wasn't an easy decision but had to be done. With that said, I could no longer get the BM dresses I was hoping to get and had to choose something different. After searching hopelessly on the internet, I finally found dresses I LOVE while on vacation in Niagara Falls, ON. I think they will be super confortable and light as it could be very hot the day of the wedding. They were also on sale, woooo!

I have also booked a florist and chosen my flowers. I wanted something simple and bright so I chose to go with gerbera daisies in pink, orange and yellow. I can't express how much I love the florist we hired or their honesty and creativity. We ordered 5 boquets, 4 corsages, and 8 boutonnieres for just over $200!!!

My wedding dress finally arrived... and it fits perfectly. I couldn't be happier with it. I still have some weight to lose and some toning to be done but overall I am pretty happy with how it fit. Now just some shoes, jewelery and a hair style and I will be set.

Things are slowly coming together

Thinking about walking down to "Chasing Cars", instrumental performed by two of our cousins on piano and guitar. Possibly walk out to "This Years Love." Father/Daughter dance to either "I loved her first" or "Mr Bojangles".

My daughter who will be about 18months old will be wearing this dress or something similiar with a lighter purple sash and ballet slippers. (far left)

The girls will be wearing this bubble hem dresses (that again I fell in love with, had a friend try one on and the love affair just got hotter.) They will be wearing them in eggplant with white sashes.

Saw this dress in the shop window and knew it was the one. Haven't even tried it on yet.
