Wedding Invitation
to DIY or not to DIY?

Hey all,
This is my first official post and i've been looking into invitations these last few days. I'm into saving money for my wedding as I have a very tight budget and don't want to spend lots of money on things like invitations knowing that they'll be thrown away. I've seen really nice printed ones for about $4-5 AUD but that doesn't include placecards, RSVP's or envelopes. I'm not sure if that is a good price or not. I also found a website about doing DIY invitations and i'm not sure whether that will be cost effective or not. I guess I'll have to do more research and find out how much all the supplies would cost to DIY them and which is more cost effective.

Hey! I know all about that dilemma. My first invitations were DIY and they turned out okay, but when we had to change them I decided that I wanted to go with something nice, but much more simpler. I had Ann Green do the invites for me and they turned out great.

If you decide to have them done you should check out Ann Green Invitations because they are very good price and they do include your RSVP cards. I had mine custom designed, ordered 65 invitations, and it only cost me $68 with free shipping and it did include the RSVP cards.

If you're interested here's Ann Green Invitations site: http://www.facebook.com/AnnGreenInvitations

Good luck!
