I recieved my floral kissing ball ($3.48) from Ebay today just to discover that it's too small for my vase. The color is perfect, but I would have to go with at least a 7.5 inch ball ($9.95) to get the look I desire.
Now I'm starting to play around with the idea of the tissue paper balls. I went back to study my favorite inspirational centerpieces & noticed that each one used a tissue paper ball instead of a floral ball.
Back to the drawing board: Since I already have a foam ball, tomorrow I'm going to pick up a pack of tissue paper & try my luck at making one.
This video was SO helpful.

I cut only 5 big squares (maybe 20cm x 20cm) out of it, and layered them before folding up, tying with the wire, and then spraying them out with my fingers. Only took about 8 flowers to fill the ball!
See how you go now. It is a very cool, cheaper way to go!
