How much to spend on the attendants?

We're spending a little bit more since we don't have a large wedding party. My FH has a best-man and groomsmen and he hasn't decided on their amount, he wants to get them these nice Fossil watches. I have a MOH and a bridesmaid and 3 hostesses. I'm spending $50 on each on them. They are my closest friends and mean so much to me. All the gifts are personalized though :-)

I forgot to mention that we have 7 on each side plus a ringbearer & flower girl. We also have 1 vocalist, 1 organist, & 1 pianist who will get smaller gifts.

I agree $50 is a good amount though.

I ALSO AGREE 50$ EACH IS GOOD. idk about my grooms men yet but the girls im thinkings about getting coach wristlets $30 at the coach outlet and maybe a cute mirror inside it. my flower girl  and my ring barer are my kids. i will be getting my daughter a necklace or a ring, and my son also a necklace.

I spent about $60 on each of my girls, which is ridiculous because 3 of them weren't really helpful at all. It is what it is though and what's done is done. My suggestion, if the girls are really helping you you should get them a nicer gift, if not give them a cheap bath and body works bath set or something.. I wish I had went a little cheaper with gifts!

Spend how ever much you desire!! I spoiled our weddnig party, especailly my girls but they are my sisters/best friends....
I think we spent about $90-$100 on each person and we have 5 on each side. I wish now that we didn't spend so much but it's totally worth everyone's reaction when they open thier gifts!

Thanks for all the input! I agree a bit with everyone. $50 is a good price for everyone, but their are certain ones who will probably get an extra little surprise because their closer to me.

we have spent less than 40 buck on each we have been very lucky to find great deals on really amazing gifts. we spent all lil more on our bestman & maid of honor thou  cause they have been helping us more and will countinue to do so till the wedding day. On our flower girls & our boys who will be in the wedding we are spending less than 30 bucks so now all we have left our our parents gifts , oh & the gifts i'm getting for my dh :) If you have alot of attendants i would go to bath & body works get a cute makeup bag or small tote and  take advantage of their clereance sale most of everything is 50- 75% off atleast here in toronto they are having this sale. & if your BM & MOH are  being more helpful than something a bit bigger or spend a lil more on them. For  my ladies I got a few things for them, I got them their jewelery which is a beautiful necklace with matching earings a very nice jewelery box that im getting engraved their gloves & hair accessories along with a cute makeup bag that has a compact  &  cute purse hook. As for the men my dh wanted to get them all flasks and one gift each so  our Bm is geting a beautifull gift box that contains a very nice pocket watch, cufflins & money clip which we are getting engraved & the GM's are getting something simliar. Our flower girls are getiing bracelets & cute flower girl bears as for  our boys we are not sure yet but prolly some sort of jewelery.If you look around they tend to have nuff sales around this time of year, that how you save some money just shopping around, sorry for the long post hope it helps
