I started taking inventory of all my purchases last night to realize that I'm almost finished buying decor & materials for all my DIY projects! After I order my pomanders, I'll be right around $600 total for decorations. We've already booked all of our vendors (minus the florist) so we're ready to start brainstorming gifts for the attendants.
He suggested doing one large gift for each groomsman - a pair of custom Oakley sunglasses. I prefer to do gift bags for my girls: a damask-themed damask tote filled with the scarf, personalized mug, & other girly things. Plus I found this awesome wristlet (think Vera Bradley's carry-it-all style) for $20 that I'd like to include.
We've talked about setting a price limit per person so we're spending the same amount on the girls vs. the guys.
What's a good amount to pick? I'm a bargin shopper who usually doesn't buy large expensive gifts, so I'm a bit intimidated by the costs here! How much did you spend on your gifts?
I forgot to mention that we have 7 on each side plus a ringbearer & flower girl. We also have 1 vocalist, 1 organist, & 1 pianist who will get smaller gifts.
I agree $50 is a good amount though.
I think we spent about $90-$100 on each person and we have 5 on each side. I wish now that we didn't spend so much but it's totally worth everyone's reaction when they open thier gifts!
Happy Planning :)
