It's official: only 6 more months until our wedding! We've been together 3 years this Christmas, and it's been the fastest 3 years of my life.
So now it's time to work on the big stuff: fitness!
When we first met I was in the middle of my competitive pageant career. Looking back, I can't believe how dedicated I was to my fitness (of course you would be too if you had to model a swimsuit live in front of thousands of people). I used to love spending 2 hours a day in the gym for cardio & strength training. My diet was pretty small in range of food choices - chicken, peanut butter, eggs, & green veggies - but I loved it.
Now I can't seem to get motivated at all! I'm at work by 7:00am each day and leave around 5:00pm. I never feel like I have time to go to the gym because I head straight home to grade papers & work on my lesson plans.
My total gym use for the year as been twice, and that was when I was on summer vacation! FH even owns the P90x system, but I just feel too lazy to do it. I still love chicken & peanut butter, but I find myself wanting breads & pastas - those mean things I NEVER ate years ago.
So I guess my question is - how did you get motivated to get in shape for you big day? Help!
