This morning I was playing with our puppy Bailey when I started wondering how many brides out there plan to have pets your "life after the wedding" plans. We already have Dakota, a full-grown Husky, and Bailey, a little mixed puppy that his brother found on the interstate a while back. The FH had just recieved Dakota when we first met so he became her master. We got Bailey about a year ago and I immediately fell in love with her since she was so tiny compared to the husky.
Anyway, this morning my heart just broke when I had to put Bailey on a diet. We noticed that she's been getting chubby but couldn't figure out why since we only feed her from a small bowl. This weekend we finally realized that she's been eating her bowl and most of the food from Dakota's large bowl as well! Yes, Bailey is a little diva and will bully Dakota around. Now instead of feeding them together, Bailey has to eat inside while Dakota eats outside. When it's time to send Bailey out to play, we have to remove Dakota's food so that Bailey can't gobble it up.
