Damask Letters

I've been meaning to post about our damask wooden letters for quite some time. I purchased the white wooden letters at Hobby Lobby, along with some damask-pattern stamps. When I tried stamping the letters, it looked really smudgy. Luckily the FH took over and created the beautiful damask patterns that you see in the photos. He used some type of metal roofing brackets to make the letters stand up on their own. We made the "I DO" letters and also our monogram "LWC" to set somewhere on tables at the reception.

Hi Sonia, I couldn't stop the smuging. The FH just had to sand it off of the letter that I messed up. Then he very carefully stamped the other ones. I think the secret is not overlapping the stamps so each design doesn't touch another one. Good luck!
