Yesterday I had my hair trial & I was extremely happy with the results. Best of all, it barely took her 45 minutes to curl, set, & pin up! I have long hair & it holds curl fairly well, but I was really impressed with how quick she works.
I'm going to have her reverse everything so that my part will be going to the other side of my face. I love how the feathers turned out. I ended up giving in and purchasing the huge, white feather fascinator from David's Bridal (luckily, it was on clearance). When I went to shoot my bridals, the stylist added the black feathers. It was just a piece of feathers from a roll (think ribbon) that he picked up at Hobby Lobby.
