Taking more pics in wedding attire after wedding?
Their were so many fun places I wanted to take pictures at on our wedding day that we just couldn't get to all of them. I talked with Hubby and he is cool with getting all dressed up to take more pics of the two of us. Is this weird to do? And could we add those to the other album for people to view/order even if their not really wedding day pics?

Ceremony pics
Our ceremony time was very early but I knew I wanted the church and it was the only time they had so we stayed at Hotel Allegro (never stay here btw they are not a nice hotel. Staff was rude, slow and walls are paper thin) so we were closer to the church in the morning.
The morning of our wedding was insane. We woke up around 5:30 to start hair and makeup for the bridesmaids and flower girls. Hubby and I tried to run to the bank because we had been running so late the day before - not good. We couldn't find any bank with the lobby open until after 9 and their was no way I would have gotten back to the hotel, ready and to the church on time so thankfully some of our bridal party spotted us cash to pay for hair. The boys arrived to the church first and then the limo came to get us. I should have given the boys everything for the church because with 13 girls we made it to the church at like 10:59 lol. We were running like crazy to get the boys boutaniers, unity candle and all the other little stuff in place Oops. :) We were able to start though and everything was great. I of course cried like a baby. I was more frustrated about crying only because its the groomsmen that could see me and I know trying to talk and cry I made some silly faces so they now have ammo on me. :) It was raining during our ceremony and when the guests went to open the door after it looked awful. Thankfully 2 seconds later it stopped raining and didn't rain again. :) I still wouldn't walk all the way down the church stairs at 1st for bubbles because my dress hadn't been bustled and the stairs were very wet. Everyone was a little confused at first because I just kind of came to a halt. My favorite part was our boys as the ringbearers. We put some flowers on our youngest sons stroller and had one of the flower girls push him down the isle. In their little suits omg they were just too adorable. |

I'm married!!

This past Saturday was our big day! :) While we had a few issues - didn't care for the dj that much and had to tell him what music to play several times - we had a lot of fun!
We had our rehersal Friday and took a limo downtown following with our entire bridal party so we could all be near the church and all the girls were together to get our hair/make-up done. I have to thank The Queene team!! They did an amazing job!!! We probably looked like the biggest scatter brains to our priest. :) We forgot the book with our vows so he winged it! lol and I almost forgot to give the boys the boutaniers. sp?? Should have given them the night before but they got them in time so can't complain. After the ceremony, we stopped at 3 places to take some pics and somehow this elderly lady became one of our photographers ?? I know I'm ballsy but this lady!! I don't know if I would just join a wedding party but this lady I guess didn't think anything of it so we just kind of let it go cause it was a little funny. We also decided to stop an Jimmy John's for lunch. I am not sure if the people working their liked us or thought we were crazy. We were trying to promote the store for them by telling everyone walking outside if they ordered a sub they were entered in a chance to win a bride. Hey, we were entertained. :) I can not wait to show you guys are pro pics!! They looked like they will all be awesome. One of the places we took pics was the carousel at the zoo. omg it was a lot of fun! Rather difficult to get on any of the animals but it made everyone relax and have fun. Also a really good note, I got 2 people who hired me to make centerpieces at their weddings and sold all my centerpieces already!!?? Everyone was in utter shock I made everything myself. Just want to say thank you to everyone on here for all your advice, opinions and support with everything!! You ladies rock!! :) |

Tell me what you think?!?!
I have a pair of gold peep toes I bought to wear for the wedding, but trying them on with my dress at the fitting, they just don't match the way I want them too. So I have been looking for new shoes. I am in a panic because I only have a week left!?!? OMG!! I found these and wanted all of you lovely ladies opinions of if they match the dress ok or if you think they are cute. They are "pumpkin color satin"

we will be putting this on top of our tree stump cake as our cake topper to to go with the whole earthy feel. Hubby was really funny and wanted me to google what kind of birds they were because he said they are probably both male or female since usually they have different coloring but I think thats being a little too picky. :)

Not wedding related but please help
color help/I'm sad
So I went to get my new tattoo today and while this is my 6th one, I am still a huge baby and can't look. Well.... not good, because while I think the guy did a great job we were obviously not on the same page. 1st I wanted a larkspur flower in the middle because that is the July flower (my sons birth month) and then I didn't think he was shading in the cross, only coloring the beads, heart and flower. So now its all just too one color to me and I'm not that happy. Obviously we can't undo the coloring in of it but I was thinking of having him shade it a different color. I don't want anything too dark since I didn't want it shaded to begin with but now I'm just stuck and I got it to destress from wedding stuff and now I feel this just put me over the edge and I want to cry. :( I have no clue what to do. I did ask if he can figure out a way to make the flower look more like a larkspur so hopefully he can. But Yeah.... Please tell me your suggestions. UGH I am so upset with myself for not watching the entire time so I could have just stopped him!!

Well I attempted to make the boys boutaniers. sp?? What do you think? I am a little worried they will look cheap if anyone uses flash cause then the leaves get a little shiny. You think this will be a big issue or ? I don't want the boys to look silly.

Wedding Dress
wearing my dress to the big game!?
So, the day after our wedding is the big Packers/Bears game. I am a HUGE Packers fan, while my hubby is a silly bears fan. (Lame) :) We have tickets to the game and I am thinking I want to wear my dress to the game with all my Packers gear. You think this is a wise decision or ?? Its at Soldier field so I think I'm a little more nervous to wear it their then Green Bay. Bears fans can be rude and obnoxious. GO PACKERS!!!! Our bridal party is all pretty much coming also, so I would have them wear their stuff also. My girls are down but I want more opinions on this before I commit.

We are going for an earthy/fall feel with a touch of vintage. We splurged a little on the dress, so we are trying to make as many of the decorations as possible but I knew when I tried the dress on, that it was the one! The lace detail has leaves. Its a much bigger dress then I ever thought I would wear but... Love it. I am getting excited to slowly see everything come together and can't wait for the big day! Knowing how much work we put into it makes it even more special.
