Ok so 40 days to go.. I havent lost my mind.. (if I did, I swear that I wouldnt know where to find it!)
I want to let you in on a secret... My guide for the last 12 months has been awseome.
It is a checklist template that I printed out online its is at the website www.truebride.com.au (its an aussie website but dont let that stop you) it also has a budget planner that you can download. I printed this out when I first got engaged and just been going through the list!.
I have a few things I need to accomplish. But not in any great hurry, I lately find Im slowing down on the wedding stuff. As the day gets closer since I actually have actually accomplished quite a bit before my deadline.
So this is whats happening for the next week;
Purchase any accessories for the reception. i.e cake cutter. (so basically just buy a knife)
Attend second last dress fitting (scheduled for this saturday, 10.30am)
Book honeymoon (with 5 weeks to go, we still havent done this. We have the budget tho. So just need to go find somewhere awseome and just buy tickets, I should be a little stressed about this but Im not)
Hair dresser trial - This sunday fingers crossed. My BM Nik is my hairdresser!
Im supposed to buy gifts for my bridesmaids. But I have spent a lot of money on the girls already so Im getting a cute picture frame and writing something special to them and framing it. I know its not massive but I have already paid for the girls dresses, manicures and pedicures, makeup, earings and shoes and hair.)
Kinda exciting aye!
On the 17th Im having my bachelorette/hens do. The girls are picking me up at 2.45pm and I have no idea what we are doing!
Also, I found out that Im not having a bridal shower. Girls havent organised anything or talked to my mum. While this is a little dissapointing its not a be all and end all because in
40 days Im marrying my man!! wooohooo!!
Thanks for the link Charis, can't wait to read how everything went before the big day!!!
shnoukys: its been the bomb that planner! just gave me a list of things I needed to accomplish and just tick it off as I went. And if i have everything accomplished for that week or month I can just mosey on right ahead!
angb13: Everything will be okies I think. Just need to have the onwards and upwards motto. When things go shitty (which sometimes they will. While you maybe dissapointed, being agro or negative, really wont solve anything. If you keep that in mind. I think you will be right!)
And yeah, you've done more than enough for your BMs. WOWEE!
As for the shower, that's too bad, but at least you're having a fun bachelorette! :)
