i think you should let your bangs out kind of tuck to the side but loose... so it wont look like its stuck to the side. But i do love this style--- gorgeous

You are too cute, I love the back! Ok, so I think, and this is just me, that you need to have a little ooomphhhh around the front of your face. and i think you are right, this can be attained by the stylist putting the head band in first then styling around it, but your hair needs to be lifted away from your head a bit...do you get what I mean? I kept making my stylist pull it out more, and more and more, because I wanted it to even out my face, ha ha, I have a big head. I told her 'day of'...it will need to be more poofy around my face...to make my face look not so fat, ha ha.

I would get her to put the headband more angled towards the front instead of straight up and down.
Perhaps also try getting her to let some hair out (and cut it) on the opposite side of your face to the fringe so it shapes your face on both sides and with a little curl to give it some shape.

I agree with you and the rest of the girls. The back is stunning! I love having my bangs and hair across my face-a more loose and carefree look opposed to smooth and sleek. I'm thinking something along these lines?

the back is beautiful, i think th side where your bangs are slicked to your head is the problem... just have that part looser show casing your face better.
This is just a suggestion- I don't know how much you loe your head ban, bu a thnner one might lay better.

Hey honey- I like the back. It's very clean and sophisticated and classic. I think the only issue is your headband is too far back...it needs to come forward more. Otherwise, I like the rest. Becasue the hair is pulled back into a tight design, i think having it messy in the front is going to be off balance? Keep playing with it, but i think you will find if you bring the headband way forward, you will like the look...

I think a softer bang sculpted around the head band would be perfect, its so pretty in the back, very chic and romantic!

Definitely loosen the hair and have it frame your face more in the front to give it a softer look. Other than that looks great!

You need some teasing so it doesn't sit so close to your head in the front. Have her/him tease and spray it and then smooth the top layer down over the teasing gently. Then the headband will sit down into the hair a bit. I agree with nidhal, the headband should come forward a little and angle more to the front and it might be nice if the hair swept over the sides of the headnband and the top was what you saw. Just a bit of hair over the sides of the headband. Love the back! and by the way what a lovely color your hair is! I'm envious!

I also think it would help to bring the headband a little more forward. Also, if the bangs were a little more free flowing (and not "stuck" down so much) and had a little more volume, you might be happier with the look. Maybe your bangs can be styled to look something like this: http://www.hairspotlight.com/category/updos/page/2. The bangs in the picture appear to have a bit more "oomph". Does that look like it would fix what you don't like?

okay first off.. holy ish the back is aaamazing!!! love it! I agree with having the head band further front and the bangs more up and away from your head.. just a bit looser around your head. Have them tease it, make it fuller, and your bangs, I wouldn't swoop straight across your forehead b/c it tends to make the face less long and look wider.. but maybe lifted sculpted bangs? like this

They still look flowy, but see how they're lifted from her forehead... and then since they're parted just a bit over from center.. u still get that talest part of your forehead showing so your face looks long and lean... :)

Honestly, I think its the headband in general throwing it off. What about a flower instead? Pinned to the side towards the bump?
I think the headband has to much bulk to it for such a clean design. I think thats whats making your bangs etc look off.

my main problem was that I couldnt get a decent front photo that was flattering... so to me just the front seems to be the bigger problem but I will give it a shot. Your a gem :)
