Bridesmaids
i didnt want any
At the very begining, I didn't want any at all. Didnt need them or see why I needed any. But everyone said, theyre good for pictures. I ask my sister in law to be my bridesmaid and my closest cousin to be my MoH. I hated it off the bat, I didnt want to worry about dresses or bouquets. And we can never get together on the dresses and to top it all off, theyre both on the struggle with finances.

My MoH has to drop out since she is starting collegio and will be gone at the end of December. I am aggrivated. I don't have that many close people. WTH am I going to do now?

The Proposal
Here is the story...
While on vacation in Florida, Brandon managed to talk Celeste into waking up at 5am the night before Friday morning to see a sunrise, something he knew she really wanted to see and take pictures of. What's so hard about that you ask? 5 am in Jacksonville, Florida is 2 am, ARIZONA time and after a week of getting up at 6am AZ time and doing a lot of site seeing such as the historical St. Augustine and Disney World everyday, Celeste was exhausted and just wanted to sleep in a little bit . Nonetheless, they both got up and headed for Jax Beach at 6:30 am local time on July 3rd.

With three different cameras, Celeste got plenty of shots of her sunrise. Distracted by small crabs on the beach as well as some angering litter, Brandon waited for the sun to come over the clouds and got up to pace. Celeste just thought his leg was bothered by sitting in the low lawn chairs. After asking her to stand with him, Celeste notice Brandon who is 6 foot 2 was her height, asking her to marry him.

The picture above is the last picture Celeste took before Brandon proposed.

Celeste said yes of course.

we ordered about 70 or so of these heart shaped glass bottles with cork stoppers. We havent decided what to put in them, sand, candy, green colored water.

I made the bows.

I plan on attatching a thank you bla bla bla, and get a heart shaped hole puncher and stringing our engagement photo on the bottle as well.

Update: 10.02.09

SO! After waiting for two weeks, my fiance and I went into the Michaels to see if our glasses were in. They were not and in fact it turns out that the store rejected the order. The department manager told us that it could be that they are hard to get bla bla bla, but when I emailed the company they said that they do special orders for companies and never have a problem with it etc etc. So instead of tracking down 70 of those vases, we went to Ikea and found another glass that is a vase with glass dots on them. And they have them in stock by the hundreds and for about 30 cents cheaper! Better deal!
I'll post a pic up as soon as I find my tools like my hot glue gun and stuff.

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
good and bad news
so when i saw my engagement ring, I refused to look at it. I'm scared of hugely valueable things, and the light from the rising sun was blinging off the thing and I wasnt looking at it! I did get a good look while in the bathroom at the Mc Donalds afterwards. Then another whille I did this picture of it. It's almost 2 carats in weight. I get too much attention from it. Even old men, OLD MEN! Ask to look at it and ask questions!

NOW THE BAD NEWS,

Saturday morning on the way to work, I reached into my purse to get some hand lotion and saw that the left stone was missing. MISSING!! It fell out. IT FELL EFFIN OUT . O U T! OUT! I frick out and call my fiance and am in hysterics. So I take it off and give it to my mom to take to him. It looked empty. With the stone gone, it looked like a bum. I went into work crying and found myself looking down at the ground since I worked the night bf.
SO! Good news, since it didnt even meet the three month check up at the jeweler, the owner will be replacing the diamond, and changing the prongs to make it secure and a new layer since the nickel was beginning to wear and show the yellow gold.
It kills me cause I know someone is going to find it and either say Hey thats a big rhinestone! OR! Say, Hey! this is a little too hard to be a rhinestone and learn that they have a thousand dollar diamond on their hands.

It kills me but what are you going to do?

Update 10.02.09

SO! we sent the ring to the jeweler and she tried to order the diamond to replace the missing one. Well, she couldn't really find one so she had to send it out to Boston to be fitted with diamonds that will match. Since the cut on my ring was a little unique, turns out they couldnt find a match and will just reset the ring with a slight upgrade. The ring altogether was almost 2 carats, I didnt need it any bigger. I was already embarrased by how big it already was! So hopefully in a week or so, I will have my ring back and we will have it for our thing at the courthouse in November.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 12.01.09

We got the ring back last monday. It took what? Two or three months? So when the jeweler got it back the first time, it was ludicrous. The manufacturer shipped it back in such a state of wrong it was insane. The diamond in the middle was fine, the left one was a little smaller and the right one was SIGNIFICANTLY smaller. It was like looking at the cingular towers that were mangled and then jumbled. I was a little pissed so was the jeweler which made me feel better, at least she wasn't trying to give it back to me like that. So after a long while after that, she was willing to just replace the entire ring itself so we could just pick out something else. But I felt like I was slapping my FH by picking something else out. So Amy (the jeweler) realized she could order a pair of earings the same weight as the side stones and the same cut and whatever and use the stones in the earings to set into the ring. A week later, tada! My ring is on my finger again. My FH proposed to me again, it was sweet.

yay or nay?
we've been debating on whether we want it this way or mad hatter style. The FH thinks that the mad hatter styles suits my personality and plus i always say that i want one tilted and leaning...

I think i want a little something from all three of these... just not a brown base since we didnt choose chocolate cake.... no deception here homies!

Wedding Dress
my dress is here!
now to lose five pounds and get my arms leaner! The dress is actually a lot whiter than I thought it would be. It's a brighter white. Everything fits except the arms. They're a little tight and when I called the company, and turns out all the dresses that take a lot of preorder time, are in fact hand made. So if I can get my arms a little leaner that would make everything great. If I don't lose any weight any where else, I can get a slimmer downer.

12.01.09

I've been stressed out. The funny thing is that I haven't been eating a bunch but I havent been working out either and my water intake has been bad. so I gained five pounds. I'm wrapping up my bad habits and tossing them out the window. I increase my work out schedule 300 percent. So instead of not working out at all, I work out 3 times a week. .... :-P LOL... yeah that was a joke, but that is whats really going on.

And I'm going to get my dress alterred a little. the arms, bust and waist at least an inch or half.
