This is charliei's Yellow Wedding!

What are you planning on walking down the aisle to? Im really stuck on this one....
There are so many and i have no idea where to start?

I was thinking that i would go with something more me and to the style of the wedding..... its to going to be a really formal event....
Its casual but elegant!!!

Were down by the beach.... stunning setting and then we are having a cocktail party for the reception....

I love the wedding scene in "Love Actually" wher they surprise them with a chorus of "love love love....."..that is one of my favourite all time movies!!!!!

So i thought that would be an option.... then theres "At last" by Etta James.... really sexy!!!! but i dont know......

And then there is one of my favourites.... All Greens ..."Lets stay together"

What do you think? any other suggestions?

i love thes little sweets... thought they might be a good idea for the wedding..... not sure how to encorporate them though!!!!!

I think ive decided i like it done up low at the back... and i definetly want to use a couple of flowers.....

There is just so much choice.... and how do you know what is going to look good?

I really wanted paper lanterns to decorate in the room and outside but the problem is putting them up and how..... especially because you dont want to ruin the walls.....

So i think i have decided that if i cant have them hanging from the ceiling i would get a few larger floor lamps to put around the room in corners......

Two of the walls are french glass doors which we will have open onto the terrace over looking the beach and i think they will look stunning in those corners....

I have a dilema....

For the reception, we have the choice of using the backdrop along the back walls of the room, i think its only 1 or 2 out of 3 so its not over the top or anything.....

I think its stunning, especially in the evening time when the lights are on.......but is it a necessity? jason not too keen on it and there is little extra cost.....

What do you think?

Ive decided that the colour scheme is going to be a soft buttercup yellow and chocolate brown.....

The bridesmaids are in yellow, and the boys in gray with a hint of yellow!

The room is softly decorated with chocolate brown runners on the tables and the flowers and around are white and yellow!

Because were having a cocktail party, were not havingt he big formal tables.. but there are going to 4 square med size tables around so people can sit down at one if they like. We are having one big rouns one in the center for a large flower display... of whta im not quite sure...

At the moment im a littel stuck, for the 4 square tables they are going to be white with achocolate brown runner across them and then i wanted something in the middle... I was thinking a square vases with a candle inside......but rtying to find one is the problem, everything is round or hurricane at the moment... so here are a couple of ideas i have found.....

any comments would be muchly appreciated!

We decided, that because we have been living together for a while that we didnt really need much stuff so we are having a honeymoon registry instead!

I have found a website which allows us to put up a registry for experiences on our honeymoon.... so people can buy us a bottle of champagne on arrival, dinner for two at a certain restuarante, a day snorkelling and little things like that.

I thought it was a great idea......

Were going To thailand for 11 nights.... i cant wait!
We are staying in the Busakorn Wing in the Holliday Inn in Phuket! the rooms look amazing... and i have heard nothing but good reviews!

We have booked a pool acess villa which leads straight into the pool from your front step, and most importanlty the swim up bar is just around the corner!

Even though they are taller than me!

I cant say it was oscar winning romance but it was special....
It came from the heart!

We had gone down to Melbourne to watch the Bledisloe Cup Rugby match between Australia and New Zealand. Jason plays rugby and is massive fan, im a rugby girl too so love to watch! We thought we would spend the weekend down there as a litttle getaway! Apparantly that was going to be it, he was going to find the right time and place and propose! I had no idea! All i know was everytime we were out we would bump into people we knew! At the rugby, in the pubs and bars around and then again in the casino! So our quiet weekend away turned into a big group outing! Even on the sunday when we went out for a brunch the day we were comming back... we bump into a few old friends in a little cafe!

Maybe it was a little of my fault as well cos know ing what im like and having no idea what jason was planning it was great having all these people around and i was chatting to them and it was a really social time away!

So after travelling back 7 or so hours in the car we finally got home and all i could think about was getting into my pajamas and bed! So setting the scene now...... im wearing pink flannel pajamas with bright green frogs all over them in our little bedroom..... all wrapped up in bed, i here a little voice wispering "are you asleep" ...."will you marry me?"
Its was one of those were your not quite sure if your dreaming... He told me how much he loved me and then got out of bed and onto the one knee as i sat there in my best warbrobe! I said yes of course and then i remember Jason still on one knee looking up at me smiling and then again softly wispered... "its really cold and I not wearing much any chance i can i get back into bed now.......?"

Im am so lucky with our invitations, my amazing sister designed them for me.
Im English and Jason is from New Zealand, so i wanted to make them represent a part of us. I came up with the idea of an English Rose and the New Zealand Fern and gave that concept to my sister...
and this is what we have come up with... i love them....

They have been mounted on black card to make them stand out a little more and are in black envelopes!

We found a place in Sydney where you actually got to make your won wedding rings from scratch!
It was an amazing experiecne and i would suggest it to everyone.
We were there for about half a day and treated with cakes and lunch along the way! I made Jasons ring and he made mine. We were given a lump of gold to start with and melted it down to pour into a cast. From that we rolled and bent the gold into the right size and shape. We had a jewler who stayed with us along the way showing us the techniques and helping us if we got into any trouble. We filed the rings to remove any scratches and polished them up to a bright gold!
They look amazing and best of all we made them ourselves for each other, thats something special!

Were going to have a cupcake cake, like the one int he picture but the cake papers are going to be chocolate brown along witht ribbon on the top tier and the flowers are going to be little daisys.

I have decided on gerberas, simple and and stunning! My friends got married last year and her bouquets were gerberas which you can see in the pictures. My bridesmaids are in a butter yellow , so i think they will have white bouquets and mine will be yellow.

We have chosen to get married at Long Reef Golf Club, the setting is amazing. Were getting married on the grass overlooking the beach....stunning!
