Great Bridal Expo



The great bridal expo is in town and I'm going! I've never been to one of these and I'm really excited! I really don't know what to expect, I almost have my whole wedding planned to a "T" but I still want to go and see what kind of stuff they have and plus I feel like its the "thing to do" when your planning a wedding. I'll go to at least one! So I got my tickets for free! I'm going to the one in Rosemont (Chicago, IL) there are many in cities all over the US (sorry WBC canada brides) so check out the web site and use promotion code KNOT if your interested!

I went to The Great Bridal Expo last month and was really disappointed! I have been to MUCH better bridal expos. They didn't really have what I expected. I wanted to see a mix of local vendors (bakeries, florists, photographers, etc) as well as a couple fashion shows and a few nationally known vendors. All I got was a lot of info about honeymoons and a quick fashion show.
They also sell you these raffle tickets that are a waste because half of the vendors don't have a thing to accept them. I don't want to be negative but it was a real waste of time for me. I am curious to know how yours goes though. Make sure you let us know!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience, I really didn't have a need to go, I'm DIY'ing most of my stuff and the rest is done. Its just a curiosity thing and something on that list of to do's when ur planning a weeding so I'm excited for the whole experience. Thanks again and I hope my experience is a more pleasant one as well. I will def let u all know
