The Girl On The Go... (Not So Wedding Related)
Hello to all. I have been EXTREMELY busy to the point where all planning has been put on hold. Where do I begin: Well let's see, I teach so last Friday was my last of school. So there was alot of last minute filing, tweaking up the rollbooks, and final checkout. Luckily, everything went smoothly.

Then on the other hand, tragedy struck. My favorite uncle in the whole wide world, Uncle Wilbert Passed. I didn't take it hard because I know he's in a better place and I can just imagine how happy he is to be reunited with Uncle Roy, My Grandmother Gege, and Aunt Edna...it's a BEAUTIFUL thing when you think about the glass being half full like that and now we have four angels looking down on our family because I just KNOW they are ALL in heaven. They were all such GREAT people. Trust me on this one.

Also, the FH and I have been looking for houses. Who knew house hunting could be soooooooooo tedious and complicated?? I have become an avid viewer of HGTV and those nice, clean, lavish houses have spoiled me. The houses I go into are BIG (over 2000 square ft.) which is a plus, but more work than wonder.

Now I think i've found my dream home. The type of home I'm looking for is trendy, not too big; but not too small, lots of neutral tones, a garage and a big backyard. THIS HOUSE FITS THE DESCRIPTION. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Wish us luck!!

The Workout Plan
So, What are you all doing to get in shape (or stay in shape) for the BIG DAY? I am very comfortable with my shape, although i'm thicker than a snicker; but I would like to work on flattening the tummy, and toning the thighs. I've heard that the Pole Fitness class was real good and fun, but EXPENSIVE, so i'm turning to good ole fashion aerobics. One of my students told me about this aerobics class that is only five dollars a week for two days a week, but it's real fun and a true workout. I think i'll try it out Monday. Now eating right: That's another story.

So, what's your plan?

Hello To All,

When I first decided to get married, I had the bridesmaids dresses all picked out and ready to go! Now, I have to change them once again. I have a LARGE wedding party and 14 bridesmaids to be exact. I know it's almost impossible to please everyone all the time, but it is imperative that I find a dress that at least compliments everyone; from tall to short, sizes 2 to 22.

At the current time, I'm opting for a shorter stylish dress as opposed to the long, more formal dress I previously selected. So, what do you all think of this dress?? It is shown in the color that they will be wearing as well.

That's All For Now...Slowly but surely i'm on the road to progress again.

It's Mine!!
When I was suppose to get married back in December of 2008, this was the first dress I selected and no matter what the price was (which ran about 1200) I claimed it!! I'm not completely finished paying for it , because we have rescheduled our wedding twice, but I'm going pay it off today. So, what do you think of it lovely ladies of WBC??

In other news, we haven't told our parents the new date we've selected. We are going to secure our reception site before we do. I think it's best that way, because sometimes parents can attempt to overplan and change the vision you have and that equals DRAMA!!

That's All For Now!! I have to get ready for my sister's graduation.

Celebrity Couples and You!!
Hello to all,

Quick Update!!

I've been in the blogging mood recently as you can see. Well, the FH and me are narrowing our new tentative wedding date down to either December of this year or May 2010. It really wouldn't be a rush to have it in December, because my BM dresses are already selected and my wedding dress it paid for in full!!

Anyway, on to my question of the the day. Is there a celebrity couple that reminds you of you and your honey?

For me, it would be LeBron James and his girlfriend Savannah. Some people actually think we resemble. (I'll post of pic of MJ and I when I get home and you tell me what you all think).

Boudoir Photographs
After browsing the site, what do you all think about taking boudoir photographs as a gift to the groom? I'm currently researching photographers because I am interested in this? My motiviation for the shoot would be to take photos similiar to the ones I have posted of Esther Baxter, video model. Although I am FAR from being Miss Susie Q. Homemaker, My FH likes the idea of a chick who can cook and clean every now and then. Also, since basketball is one of his main hobbies I would like a few pics to reflect that theme. WHat do you all feel about this??
